2.5mm (750lb) Spectra(R) Braid - Speargun Wishbone Cord and Shooting Line

I hemmed and hawed on wether i should write this review because i dont want a lot of people to know about it and buy all of it. But o use this for replacement bowstring on my traditional asiatic bows(horsebows). They work well enough and i haven't any any issues yet. Probably shot a couple hundred arrows so far. Just make sure your bow can handle spectra/fastflight.

I was looking for a very strong cord that wouldn't snap for my Spin Gym exercise product. And this does it. This cord is very strong indeed. But when it gets hot, it does put out a little odor. It gets very hot from a few minutes of workout with the Spin Gym, with all the twisting and spinning. But it doesn't break! And the cords that come with the Spin Gym snap easily. This one has never broken after weeks of use. Amazing.

it was exactly what owners manual said to order but it wouldn't fit my Horton Crossbow crank and because I had already cut it I now have an expensive boat tarp tie down rope.

Supposed to be 10 ft, was 9'8", patio umbrella needed 10ft. I then ordered the next length (30ft), and it was also short 4 inches but was at least 10ft! This outfit "shorted" both orders. Ordinarily when buying rope, wire, or cable, the length is the spec length at minimum plus some, not minus some.

I used the factory cord on my Horton cocking sled and it began to show some wear after about 50 times. I consulted the owners manual and they recommended Spectra Cord. It appears to be smoother thus may perform better, we'll see.

I'm using this to replace a frayed steel cable on some ski boots. It's holding up remarkably well. Easy to work with and very strong for the diameter. I'll find many more uses for this in the future.
