Star Wars Trilogy Collection 3.75" Figure: Lando Calrissian

Lando Calrissian is one of my least favorite star wars characters but I had decided after seeing the first wave of Vintage Original Trilogy (VOTC) figures to collect all of them.Without question this figure is the best VOTC figure from the first two series, A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back! The accuracy of this figure is outstanding and the articulation is positively amazing. Lando's figure bests the VOTC Han Solo, second best in the first two series IMO, by having more articulation in the torso so he is on par with the "super poseable" clone trooper from last year. In the entire VOTC, Lando's figure is surpassed only by Boba Fett and the Stormtrooper, both of which have incredible articulation.Some reviewers have questioned the value of these VOTC figures compared to "basic" figures. They are easily worth twice the price of the basic figures. Not only do you get vintage style packaging, you also get incredible new figures that feature better accuracy and articulation. If you want the best of the best from this series get Boba Fett, The Stormtrooper, Chewbacca, Lando, and Han Solo.If you are a star wars collector the entire 12 VOTC figures are must haves!

Well, let me tell you that I have always wanted "Lando" for the simple reason that "he" and Han Solo are long time "Buds" BUT I have never had the opportunity to obtain him. The one that is shown in the image is NOT the one I recieved. I ended up with the "Power of the Force" version were Lando has apparently been taking steroids or something because he is so muscle-bound that even though he is fully clothed you can still see all his muscles thru his outfit. He resembles more Carl Weathers from the "Rocky" films than Billy Dee Williams. It's not a bad "action figure" it's just that's not what I was looking for. I gave this a decent score simply because you can see that even in toyland there is "pressure" to fit the mold of other companies figures ("He-Man and the Masters of the Universe" anyone?).

I film a Star Wars comedy on Youtube and Lando is one of the funnier characters. I bought this action figure as my Lando and hit the jack pot. He is super poseable, looks great, and has a Cloth cape with leopard skin pattern on the inside. Awesome, awesome, awesome.

This Star Wars character is a cool addition to any Star Wars collection. It holds up to all the play time it's sure to get.

I got this Lando Calrissian from the Empire Strikes Back Bespin Alliance Set.This Lando is from the Original Triology Collection, from the movie Empire Strikes Back. This Lando is really not that bad. The sculpt and paint are pretty good, specially capturing a great likeness to Billy Dee's face.Out of the box, this figure wears a fabric cape. It also includes a blaster.This figure has:- ball-jointed head,- ball-hinged shoulders, knees and ankles, and- swivel elbows, wrists, waist and hips.I have to admit that the swivel elbows and hips do not bother me as much as I thought they would.Overall, this figure offer great likeness and good posability.

It's unfortunate that there hasn't been a better release of Bespin Lando since this 2004 figure. Fortunately, this guy has aged pretty well. Except for the swivel elbows, he's got a good range of articulation. The likeness does look a bit more "tough" or Carl Weathers-like than Billy Dee Williams' friendly Lando that we all remember from the movie, but it's still a pretty close match. While I hope there's a Vintage version on it's way soon, if you're looking for a Lando for your Cloud City diorama this is your best bet.

This is a good figure no issues or complaints with it at all, perfect Lando figure.Fits in vehicles, cpae wears well and hand holds guns well. What more can you say
