The foam is a good addition for these boxes. I had one of these boxes supplied by my employer so this was a no brainer purchase when I set out to buy my own box. The green color sets it apart on the baggage carrousel from all the black bags. Pelican is for real with the lifetime warranty. They replace wheels, latches hinges even the entire box if it breaks. Can’t say that baggage handlers won’t break it but Pelican will back it up!

Awesome case, just wish I could’ve afforded the bigger version. Lord knows I have enough equipment for it. I can safely transport all my guns and range equipment safely from the elements.The case is really good it’s a pelican, but I gave it a 4 star cause they sent me the wrong color and I didn’t want to return it due to I had to travel use it the very next day. All in all a really good investment !

Well worth the money over the knock off brands. We use this to transport some sensitive equipment for our farm. This case has been beat to heck, dropped, hit with a tractor, soaked from irrigation lines, pretty much everything but shot at and it protects the contents like military armor. Well done pelican, well done!
