I have all but completely destroyed my curls from bleaching and straightening for over a year that my curls are almost non-existent anymore. I tried LUS brand curls and spent $90 on 4 items but I have to say Cantu works better and it's cheaper! The product that really impressed me was the Curl Activator cream (bottle). I recently bleached/color stripped my hair and any progress I had made with LUS was gone. I decided to try a new product to try out my luck and chose Cantu. I cut my fried ends (less than 1 inch) and applied the Curl Activator cream, scrunched my hair a bit and lightly defused it with my hair dryer and it looks BETTER than what LUS had done in a month. I can't say it'll work for you the way it did for me, but I'm going to continue to use/purchase the Activator cream for sure.The Shampoo & Conditioner: I've only tried it once so far, I'm not overly as impressed as I was with the activator cream but they get the job done. I've had other conditioners that leave my hair softer, however.Over all it was a good purchase and I'll be sticking with this brand for a while.

I saw other people using this and WOW!!! It really does work!!!! It’s so nice to see my natural curl all over again!!I used to use a straightener because my hair was curly underneath (and frizzy/ messy) but the top was wavy, almost straight.. It would frustrate me to the point of just wearing my hair up all the time.Now I don’t want to ever put it up!I got so many compliments and people asking me where I got the curl activator.If you even have a slight curl or wave, try this out!!!!!I really liked that these don’t have the chemicals that other hair products are heavy with.It smells so amazing, too!I’m a repeat customer for life.

I have Caucasian curly hair with frizz like everyone else. I’ve tried it all so why not give another brand a try. First I would recommend that the directions on the curling cream be more specific. How much should I use? Can I apply it to my scalp or should I keep it away from my scalp? I applied in sections as directed, didn’t apply to my scalp and scrunched and dried. I think I used too much. My curls are a little crunchy but without more information I don’t know if that’s how they should be. I can update later.The shampoo is strong. I’ve never had product buildup so bad that I would need something this strong. Some people might and if they do this is perfect for them. The conditioner I applied to hair but not roots. The directions didn’t say how long to leave it on. I left it on for maybe 5 minutes. It rinsed well and my hair had great slip. Better than much higher priced products. The products have more of a neutral scent. More of an essential oil smell like argon or jojoba. Doesn’t have an overpowering fake smell. Very neutral. The bottle of curl cream leaked a little in the package. Bottles were wrapped well in plastic and didn’t get all over the inside of the envelope. This product really should be shipped in a box and not an envelope.Overall so far so good. For the price I recommend it. Maybe purchase the conditioner and curling cream without the shampoo unless you need something that will cut through tough buildup.
