Writing Strands, Level 4

Exactly as described and arrived on time. This is a great way to teach creative writing. It has helped me with my 8th grader who struggles with this subject!

Really found this book more difficult to follow along than I thought. The writer kept saying how simple it is but then gave a long description of the many steps to do. It even had writing errors in the book which is not good if the book is a writing book. Overall I had to pass as this was too much work to get me to use it to help my daughter write.

This book is great!! Easy read, easy to understand, child can do it with basically no assistance. Guidance is always great but it is written clear enough for the student to use in their own.

I cannot say which book my daughter enjoys the most but she is more willing to do Writing Strands than she was Grammar or any other subject now! This series seems to be more freeing to my daughters to just use the knowledge instead of continuing to beat it into their heads.

We love these books but beware what sellers you choose. This arrived with heavy marking and chapters torn out, making it unusable.

Love the book; my kids have enhanced their writing skills significantly based on the guidance from this book.

This book has really helped my son develop better writing skills. It is very easy to understand and the process is broken down into easy to digest pieces so it isn't overwhelming. He also appreciates the humor of the author as someone else stated =)

Author engages his audience as if he is talking with them one on one. Great for any student that struggles with the "how-tos" of writing.
