Nice scale RC Jeep
Lots of detail for the scale. These are great and pretty capable. I am not a RC guy and man the rabbit hole goes deep for these things. These are ready to go out of the box OR if you want to geek out, you can purchase crazy upgrades for them and post videos of you "crawling" with your Jeep. Yep do that

A lot of potential but didn’t hold up
First of all this Jeep is pretty cool. Bought this Jeep for my boyfriend as a birthday gift. He recently had to sell his Jeep Wrangler and was missing it so I decided to get this for him. It crawls just like a Jeep, steering and throttle control can takes some pretty impressive lines. However on its 3rd day out the reverse has failed and forward only works intermittently. He can’t access the gear box to replace the gears (included). We had a lot of fun with it but pretty disappointed it only lasted a couple days.

Well Made
A very well made little truck. A lot of attention to detail went into the design. I dinged it a star because of the lackluster performance. Yes it's a crawler, but it is very light so it tips easily and has some difficulty with traction. It also doesn't have gearing to get it out of snail speed.

Servo is Junk 5 wire Nightmare/ nearly impossible, Definitely Impractical to change - Skip This One
These are very nice and scale, but so is the BRAHA Cadillac Escalade LICENSE Friction Car, that I got at FIVE BELOW, and if the servo barely works, it has about the ame value as far as I am concerned. I got one of these when they came out. What a waste of $200. It sits while I use my scx24, FCX24, Ascent 18. The stock Scx24 AS-1 Servo is a BEAST...COMPARED to this one's. It wouldn't be a problem if you could just swap it out like on Hmmm.... Pretty much ANY OTHER RIG IN THE WORLD! It's all one piece of molded plastic basically, so even if you could solder something to get another servo in there (5wire remember), you'd hve to chop up the front of the truck to remove the AAA Battery Tray from the Servo Mount.....oh, and it's HARD plastic, not like an Axial. You'll need to dremel it probably. OR... you can replace ALL the electronics, and at that point, you are just buying it for the body. It is also top heavy with AAA batteries in it, but you can mod it to take a lipo, but that servo... kills the whole thing.Every time I look at this thing on my shelf it pisses me off. I actually saw a review on RC Review on YT which got me excited to buy it, but FRANCIS claimed that the servo was strong. Nonsense. It will not turn under it's own weight unless it is rolling. It is so frustrating man.
