Listed as an Asus ROG 6 but 1st listing photo shows an Asus ROG 6 Pro and also shows the 6Pro in the description.Buyers beware.(I own a ROG 6 Pro)

I got this phone in June 2023. It worked amazing, as I expected it to. I purchased the first ROG phone in 2019 and loved it very much.However, after about 3 months, a small problem turned up: opening the camera would crash the phone and force it into a boot loop. This would last a few minutes at most, then the phone would boot up, and allow me to use the camera again. Last month, it entered a boot loop it would never escape. Over 20 hours of looping, until the battery died.I have contacted ASUS and the phone is zoned for Hong Kong, even though this purchase is advertised as the Global Edition. Because of this, the phone can only be serviced in Hong Kong. I live in the USA. The Hong Kong center does not accept phones via mail. ASUS USA does not service phones that are zoned for outside the USA.This problem is known! There are two issues that plague ROG 6 phone cameras: a spark within the camera module (not what I experienced) and a motherboard issue that forced the phone into a boot loop (the issue I experienced). This FEELS like a scam. I feel wronged. Do not purchase this. Do not gamble $800 for 4 months of a good phone just to have it ripped away from you.

Just contacted Asus support for a warranty repair request for my camera malfunctioning (hardware failure). They told me my phone is zoned for Taiwan. So now I would have to send my phone to Taiwan for repair and NA offices can not assist.

I bought this unit in October of 2023. After about 3 months to start having random reboots. Finally I was able to figure out it's the camera. 2 months later the reboots got longer until one day they would not stop. Now I am stuck trying to get warranty service on this thing. This is a known issue with many of these phones. I was fortunate enough to be able to go out and buy a backup burner for when my rog6 was going to go out. Make sure you have your serial number handy because if your phone doesn't work you'll have to refer to the box it came in or the warranty card. Of course my phone didn't want to cooperate when it was away from home 500 miles away.. some of the phones are supposed to have a serial number written on back but mine didn't. You can get into the emergency boot menu and that would have been a nice place to put serial number but Asus phones aren't nice apparently...

The image shows the ROG Phone 6 Pro, which is what I thought I was ordering. Instead, I received the regular ROG Phone 6. Disappointed that I overpaid for a misleading product listing.

I wanted to purchase another phone to replace my T-mobile Oneplus 9 (worst phone of the oneplus brand). I am amazed with the Rog 6, top specs to rival the latest of Samsung, Iphone, Xiaomi and a lot more memory. I live in a semi rural part of Oregon and I get better signal with the Rog 6 than my tmobile phone. It's just a beast of a phone, I can game for hours without worrying about overheating or the battery draining, plus the side connector to charge is truly awesome, doesn't interrupt the gaming. The stereo system on this phone is insane, it has a bit of bass! And the refresh rate @165 is crazy good, loving it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone that loves to game and for everyday use. The band widths it uses, work very well for any T-mobile user.
