There isn't much to write about an OEM battery. When it comes cheap, there is a hesitation in buying it because there is always the fear of getting palmed off a used or useless battery. No one returns such items because return shipping is more expensive than junking it. However the one I received was not only cheap but also good as promised. Even after two months, I have no complaints. It retains the charge well and is still going. This was bought through an Amazon market place seller, WIRELESS UNLIMITED. Although they were not the cheapest, the reviews about the seller were very good. The delivery was faster than promised and the transaction clean.

Battery works great after it is charged. I'm thankful these batteries can still be purchased so I can use my old cell phone. I do recommend.

Bought this as replacement for my phone that was stuck in snow for 2 days, thankfully my phone came back to life but the battery was gone. This replacement helped for about a year or so, but after that it started to lose charge more quickly - I suppose it was my phone to blame, not the battery. But for as long as it worked, the battery did a pretty good job keeping my phone functional for a year.

I am very satisfied with this battery for my phone. I just have a plain phone in which I've had now for over 3 years and the battery had just wore out...as expected with any electronic item. So, I looked on-line and found this on with Amazon and ordered it. The price was excellent and included free shipping! They gave me a time line of when to expect the battery and was delivered about 4 days earlier than what I had expected and at that time there was a lot of bad weather going on. This was the first time that I have ever bought anything on-line from Amazon and will do it again.

It has some issue with charging

Since I've been using the same Samsung Instinct for few years I can't afford a new upgrade yet so the battery was the original battery and it's life gets worn down so I had to purchase a new one and found it so much cheaper on Amazon then in the store. However since my cell is older Radio Shack & even my carrier do not carry the battery in the store & would have to been ordered anyway. They wanted more money for it so I went on Amazon & it was definitely much cheaper. Since I would have to wait anyway it only took a few days. Well worth it and What a difference in battery life. I usually don't have to charge it til I go to bed. If you do a lot of texting it def will need a zap eventually & if your in the car just put car charger in for a few minutes for some extra juice but I'm very happy with the new battery as my other one would die in the first hour of charging overnight. Get it if you need it, you won't regret it. It's so much better than what I had.

This batery is the estandard Samsung device powers source, and it's not that good, the batery live it's horrible and it takes a long time to charge, am buying this because my old batery die on me, in just one year, aybe it's intentional that battery can't last no more than one year, but shame on you Samsung, there are others phones with great batery life like my blackberry, I had it for 3 years and never had a problem wit it, and with my other cell witch is samsung it dies in just one year!Well at least this batery is cheap, good price for renplacing something that should last longer, buy at you own risk, until next year!

My Samsung Impression was dying. Decided to try a new original manufacturer battery - am not tech smart, wasn't sure if it was battery or worse. I like the one-click life. Battery arrived on time. Favorite cellphone is alive, well and holding hours of charge again like new. I could have bought whatever new phone I wanted - didn't want any. Cellphone manufacturers and service providers wake up: a lot of smart people don't want smartphones.
