It falls apart.
When I got it, it seemed to be pretty sturdy. Found out that the wrenches are paramount for the adjustments on thickness because the thumb screws are too hard to get at with fingers. Then the bearings that hold the roller kept falling out I continued to use it a little but lost one of the bearings so now it is useless.

Love this skiver, uses olfa type blades, easy to set up and adjust with video on Amazon.ca site, comes with colored images to setup! You can skive from thick to thin leather with it! Start with scrap leather to get used to it at first!
