keeps the straps from getting damaged
Well worth it -- have used these on both my 3 inch straps and 4 ich straps when going over the top of a load --- have used these multiple times and no damage to the straps. When the cost of straps - well worth purchasing these.

Flimsy but your not paying for top of the line. I personally like them because if a driver looses one they aren’t super expensive and work just as good

Large, but good for sharp 90 degree corners
Heads up; these are fairly large. But they're well made and perfect to use on sharp corners when tying a load down. I cut half of them down to smaller pieces that are easier to use on smaller straps. Now I have two sizes. I'm sure the manufacturer would have a fit, but they work for what I need. Keep in mind, these are rigid and work on 90 degree corners; some edges aren't quite right for these.
