Licorice Laces Juicy Gummy Shoe Strings Candy (Red Strawberry, 1 Pound)

This is a childhood favorite candy that has been in my family since the 70s. Not very sugary my dentist even loves it is not bad for my teeth. The texture was great the quality was amazing and of course it's natural color was my favorite.

Taste great, just like it did years ago. I have to hide it because they will definitely eat it all up.

This black licorice was a squished compacted glob, all stuck together and dried out. It was difficult to get any pieces of 4-5". I intended to use it to decorate wafer cookie "diplomas" for graduation party. It was so dry it was hard to tie, not even trying a bow. It broke in smaller pieces every time. I tried wetting individual pieces & then tied them on cookies. But the licorice soon broke apart, while just sitting there. (I ended up using icing on the cookies.) It doesn't taste good either, dry, chewy & tasteless. Total waste of money.

I got these when I was down Hampton Beach to bring home and couldn't find them at all down here so I looked online and these are so yummy

These don't taste like the ones I used to buy in the clear packaging for $.50. I like those ones because they are super chewy a bit more "waxy". These ones are soft and tasty but not like the ones I've been getting since I was a kid!
