Fast, Easy Installation!
I used this item for the wiring harness. I matched it up with the OEM style seven way plug that fit into my Silverado bed location. Worked perfectly!

Easy to install.
I was worried when I ordered this that it'd be difficult to install, but it was extremely simple. Hardest part was drilling a hole inside the box of my truck for it, and that has zero reflection on the product itself. Would buy again. This wasn't a NEED purchase but it has simplified my life since my trailer cord stays in the box now instead of going over the tailgate to plug in, easing the general wear and tear on the cord.

Makes the 5th wheel lighting connector easier to connect and more protected
You can drape the cable over the tailgate to connect your trailer lights, but I don't recommend it. With the connector located in the bed of your truck the plug and cable are more protected. I wouldn't recommend towing a 5th wheel trailer w/o this kind of set-up.It isn't difficult to install but you do have to use a rotary hole saw to cut a hole in side the bed. The cable hook-up is easy to connect in line with your existing 7-pin connector down by the bumper. For my use the 7 foot length was more than enough and I used some of the provided zip ties to coil the excess cable to keep it safely hidden away. Good quality and should last indefinitely.

Perfect for my 2015 Ram 2500
Easy to install and great connection with stock harness. It went perfectly into my bed for my fithwheel and works great!

Good but not great
I like everything about this product other than the actual plug has a looser fit that desired and the trailer cable tilts in the socket and can cause the connection to fail. I'm opening a replacement claim and will update the review once I receive the new plug and then know if it's a common thing or if I just got a bad one at first.

You could pay more money for better quality, but i was willing to compromise. Easy to install and has been working great for the past several months.

How does OEM parts stay in business!?
This was plug and play for my 2014 Ram 3500. Hardest part was drilling the hole in truck box side. Makes hooking up a truck camper a whole lot easier!
