Great book in perfect condition!

This is an excellent book about traditional Macedonian dress! Great photos and good documentation.

I have seen an amazing amounts of textile books and this one ranks as one of the best. Aside from the informative articles on the background, history and techniques the thing strikes me are the illustrations. Too often illustrations in this type book leave me wanted MORE and BIGGER looks at the dress. Not here. The illustrations are closeup, large and striking. And a big plus is that the text is interesting, easy to read, and understanding. I could not ask for a better look at a very interesting subject.

Wonderful book, a rare example of scholarship accessibly written and beautifully illustrated on this little known region.I have written about Balkan textiles myself so am particularly delighted to have this book in my collection.
