Great value and quality for a child’s bed
I bought this bed two years ago and was very pleased with the quality of the construction and the finish. It was easy to put together with clear instructions and pictures. It has a higher weight capacity than most other value priced beds. I just bought another one so 2nd grandson doesn’t have to sleep on the air mattress when he comes to visit. I highly recommend this bed.

Best wood product I have purchased on Amazon.
Overall Impressions:We are really impressed with this bed. We purchased the twin size for my 2 year old that is being forced to vacate his convertible crib due to a sibling's imminent arrival. The selling point for us was the weight limit and materials used in construction, no fiberboard/mdf type pressed wood, it is made out of natural wood (pine, I think). The listing stated it has a weight limit of 400 lbs, resting weight. We have come pretty close to that between my 6'3" 250lbs self and my pregnant wife along with our little one all sitting on the bed a few times, and there has been no sounds of protest from the solid frame.Packaging:I was so impressed with how the bed was packaged for shipment, that I had to take a picture and include it in my review. Each wooden piece was individually packed with a foamy wrap that kept the finish perfect. All the hardware was included, and some extra screws were added, for the small wood screws.Assembly/Bed Design:The assembly process was very straight forward, with no surprises for the user. Instructions were easy to follow, if you can assemble an Ikea shelf, you can easily put this together. The design is well thought out to be easy to assemble, yet sturdy. I always advocate for the use of power tools, although they included the required Hex wrenches in the hardware kit. If you use your own tools, you will need metric Hex bits, FYI. There is voluminous storage underneath the bed, or it can be left as a convenient cave for ambitious little explorers. All in all, this was a fantastic purchase.

Sturdy, great for adults or kids, easy to assemble, nice clean look - See my assembly advice
ASSEMBLY ADVICE: Get a bottle of wood glue (4oz is plenty) and use it during assembly for the head and footboard assembly (both ends). Using it on the headend slats means that they don't clack around or make a noise as they are otherwise loose in their slots. Using it on every other joint & groove where you find 'bare wood' just makes it all extra sturdy. Don't use too much glue otherwise it will ooze out or drip, but you can wipe it off. This goes together really easily but do follow the instructions. I bought several so the first one took longer - the main thing is to ensure that everything goes the right way up and the right way round as several parts could go either way and you don't want to take it apart and flip it once you realise - and you can't if you've glued!. In particular, ensure that the central support bar is horizontal and right under the base slats. If it's at an angle, you've got the footboard piece upside down. Use an electric drill to fix the base slats. Everything else by hand. It should all take less than an hour to assemble.Note: This appears to be the same as another product under a different brand. I'd bought that one previously but it was out of stock so I bought this one instead and all parts seems to be identical. Search Amazon for B07Y5XTFC4 if this one is out of stock. One thing I didn't like is that they use styrofoam/polystyrene in the packaging which can't be recycling. I'm sure it's the best and the bed arrived in perfect condition but I'd prefer card or something else.

Almost all real wood, easy to assemble, good value
I was pleasantly surprised with this bed. Instructions were clear and well thought-out with little room for error. They provided some extra hardware which was nice as well.Everything except the footboard insert is real wood, and even that insert is still pretty high quality and durable feeling MDF. We went with the white finish which was smooth and consistent with no areas really missing paint. Assembly took about 45 mins even with my daughter excitedly "helping" me put it together. My only gripe about the bed and the only reason I'm deducting a star is that the slats are too few. The space between them seems considerably larger than expected and you can sort of feel it even with a quality mattress on top of it. I may add more slats later myself. I like how they have all the slats connected together with a stapled canvas so that you don't have to space them yourself, just put both ends tucked into each corner and everything else is spaced accordingly. Only problem there is the wood is so soft that a lot of the pocket screws don't "grab" and I had to forego the pocket holes all together and just screw straight down into the wood and into the frame vertically instead of at a 45 degree angle.Overall great value for the money though and would not hesitate to recommend. You could certainly do a lot worse for the price.

Great bed, even better customer service
I waited to review my purchase of the Max & Lily Solid Wood Twin-Size Bed in grey because there was a hiccup in the delivery and, when it arrived, the foot board was broken. Most likely that happened in transit, which is unavoidable yet frustrating when you've promised a preschooler their first "big kid" bed and have everything else (mattress, comforter) ready to go. The reason I'm able to rate the product so highly is because, even though Amazon was not able to facilitate a replacement bed due it being out of stock, the manufacturer came through and shipped just the piece FedEx overnight. They really saved the day, and I was so pleasantly surprised at walking away from a customer service experience with a feeling of relief rather than frustration. Thanks, Ethan! As for the bed itself, assembly took about two hours total when we factored in the addition of separately purchased guard rails. The bed has a simple, classic look with clean lines and is an ideal height - low enough for a 2.5 year old to climb in but sufficiently tall to grow with her through childhood. So far we are all quite pleased and would highly recommend this product as a first "big kid" bed.

the most reliable and beautiful bed I ever bought
got for the kid, very nice quality, very good seller. important, I ended up buying 12" mattress, its too high for my toddler, should get right thickness for kid (I think its 4 or 6" - bedsmart have the right thickness on their website). I compensated that with bed guard and the toddler can climb on it and get down)
