Special Kids Adaptive Clothing For Children & Adults With Special Needs, Short Sleeve Bodysuit

My 11 year old has special needs and is not yet potty trained. We use these at night instead of PJs. While they are a little on the expensive side, the clothing works for him and keeps his diaper and close on at night. The quality is great on the materials too so it is why we have purchased them a couple of times as he has changed sizes.

My son is currently in a hip spica cast. Clothing options are extremely limited. This works so well, without looking “babyish,” which my five-year-old would NOT appreciate. I wish the legs cane down just a little lower, more like shorts, but it’s totally workable as is. It would be amazing if the price were a little less heafty, but otherwise I’m very pleased.

This is the 3rd time I have bought special needs snap shirts from this company and am very pleased with the product. I had bought a tool from Hobby Lobby that lets me attach snaps to the bottom of oversized t-shirts, but they weren't durable and the shirts had to be oversized, to accommodate being pulled together at the crotch. This was fine for home, but I wanted something presentable for my son to wear out in public. I recommend reading the back story of Special Kids Company and supporting them!

I'm 5'6, 110Lbs and this fits great! I've washed it a few times already, on standard settings on a topload and I haven't had any issues with the fabric.No threads loose on mine, buttons are secure and hasn't shrunk much.As someone with a disability, sometimes finding clothing like this in larger sizes can be rather hard. I'm glad this company is not only making there, but making a high quality product. Definitely will buy more!

I am generally very happy with this item. The leg holes are a bit too large, but otherwise I have no complaints. It has washed and dried well. Some have mentioned snaps ripping out. If you hold each snap and pull it open, they won’t rip. If you pull from one end to open all of them, yes, they will rip, expectedly. I really like that they have made the middle snap a different color, so there’s no guessing about how to line up the snaps. I would definitely purchase another one.

Nice and soft texture for comfort. Leg holes are loose enough for magicians to slide a diaper off and through. Snaps seem sturdy. Not a deterrence for mobile kids re: undressing diaper.

I love that my kiddo can’t get to the diaper from the top. As others have also mentioned, the bottom is loose fitting and leaves room for my kiddo to rip up/off the diaper through the leg holes. Even though I still have to put shorts on him as well (one more step for my lazy self), it’s still the best product that I’ve found because it’s a bottom button onesie rather than a back zippered onesie, thus allowing for easy changes.My two requests for the designer would be to make the leg holes less stretchy AND/OR make the bottoms longer with more buttons to create a shorts/shirt onesie for easier nighttime changes.Overall, great product!

It's a great product for children like mine who do not like wearing clothing. It's comfortable and not easy for the child to remove. The only minor flaw is it must be washed in the delicate cycle and dried on low heat, so I can't put it with the rest of our laundry. That being said, I will very likely be ordering more in the future.
