It’s a Fun mug and it does change color just like it shows

I bought this for my husband who loves Spiderman. I was afraid that he would think it was silly, but he absolutely loves it. He was as excited as a kid with a new toy the first time he used it. To begin with, it's a basic black coffee mug. Once you add hot water, the picture magically appears. Once it cools off, it goes back to black. It's so cool to watch and it adds a bit of magic to his morning routine.

I bought the cup for my now, four year old grandson who is a fan of super heroes. He also likes hot chocolate. He absolutely loves the cup. It delights him to see the transformation. He is enjoys the “show.”

My dad uses this mug all the time, I got it with Captain America on it, which is my favorite marvel character, his favorite superhero is Superman, which the mug with all of the other superheroes on it, including Superman was sold out. Overall, the mug changes color well and reveals Captain America with vibrant colors and accuracy. Good product overall!

This is such a fun gift for a superhero fan. The design on the mug (once filled with a warm drink) is appealing to both children/ teens and adults. The black mug seems to have a faded black appearance before it's filled. But, the superhero design really makes the mug pop with color. We chose the young Captain America selection.

I love how this appears when you put hot water/coffee in cup! I think it took longer than expected to show picture, but I only used hot tap water. I'm sure it would be quicker with coffee. 💓

I got the Captain America cup, and would note that it does change color when I add boiling water to make tea; however, it does NOT stay clear when I put my cold hands onto the color changing outer coating. The fact that it is not microwave safe nor dishwasher safe is unfortunate, and I did not notice that before it was ordered. It is for someone who doesn't have a dishwasher, though, so it is probably fine. Mug is as pictured and would be a very plain black coffee cup without the reveal. You can see the outline of Captain America though the black, even when the cup is quite cold, so it loses a star there. Overall, the cup is OK, and the picture reveal is fun.

Unlike other heat changing cups you can see the design while black still but very bright when coffee is added. looks great and works well
