Whitmor Waste Basket with Wood Handles

What I really really like about these is that your typical grocery bag is the perfect fit for a liner, and if you wrap the bag handles around the wooden handles it holds the bag wide-open so you can fill it to the max.

It's a beautiful small basket. Perfect with my bedroom colors! The wooden handles do move a bit sideways as you can see in my pictures, but you only notice this if you really pay attention to it. Also, they are more of a dark brown, not black. I think this looks better. I have had it for 5 months already and looks just like when I got it.

I guess I got tired of looking for gray waste baskets for my bedroom that weren't outrageously priced (not interested in paying $40 for something to throw trash in) so for some reason I convinced myself this one appeared on the grayish side. The price was right, (I got it for a couple bucks cheaper, used - like new). It is a very nice wastebasket, seems well made and is just the right size for the side of my nightstand. It was a little bent at the top but I was able to bend it back into shape and it looks like new. I really wanted a gray wastebasket however, and this is NOT gray, at all. My remodeled bedroom has several shades of gray in it and once the basket sits next to anything gray, all you can see is light brown/taupe. Yes, it does appear to have grayish hues when it is nowhere near something that is gray and one of the individuals answering questions did state this. Someone else said it had gray in it and I guess I was hoping that would be true. I will keep it as it will be in the corner and no one will see it, just wish it was a little gray :(.If you are looking for a light brown/beige, buy it - it's a good deal.

I give this 5 stars because the description is right on. It's just up to the consumer to figure out if it's for them or not. I am going to guess some may say "it's a bit too small" but that's probably only because they didn't measure it out themselves to get an idea of what they were about to receive.Looks great.Looks to be of good quality and not "fake aesthetics" ← like you might find in Ikea products.So definitely look at the dimensions and measure it out in front of you to see if the dimensions are what you are hoping for.

I really liked the style. The plastic grocery bags can fit around the handles to keep the bag in place. My toilet is very close to my sink cabinet so the narrow style fit perfectly. I can see this could be a bit of challenge to clean but this is in a bathroom that doesn't get used that much. I'm assuming I could spray with a disinfectant, but haven't done that yet.

I was impressed with the quality of this wastebasket. The wire edge around the top will keep it from breaking like my last wicker basket did. I like the neutral cover and the rectangular shape too. It will fit more compactly on the shelf next to my computer.

This was purchased to fit in a special space and it works wonderfully. The product is made with soft materials so avoids banging and damaging the objects it is by. Quite, too. The first one in this spot was metal and damaged nearby objects and was very noisy.

This is a good-looking, slender, space-efficient wastebasket for under my laundry room sink. Unlike many other "slender" wastebaskets, this one actually has a decent amount of capacity. Plus, it is prettier than the standard slender plastic wastebasket. Two thumbs up!

This basket fits well in my office. Matches perfectly the color of my carpet. I like the shape of it, and despite being of man-made material, it does look very natural and is quite sturdy. I really like it.

It looks good anywhere you put in the house. Highly recommend it!It is beautiful
