Fun little car, definitely worth a buy
this car has really good quality, despite its price. The servo has great precision and the suspension actually isn't half bad.It performs really well on hard surfaces, not so great in grass or taller carpet. Little slippy on wood, but still fun.The durability is amazing on the car. It takes flights of stairs like a champ. For its size, it's surprisingly rugged. The controller is my only real complaint. It's durable, but the charge cable is a bit of a pain to remove. Also, despite only charging 10-15 times, there has been a significant decrease in the car's charging speed from about an hour to 3 or so hours. It's definitely worthwhile to purchase the USB charger separately than deal with the finicky charger cable and slow charging speeds from the transmitter.

Feels like driving a bigger car, a lot more fun than the Micro-T
This car is a blast. I have a Micro-T but this is even more fun to drive. It's not as zippy but it drives more like an actual car. Good throttle control is necessary to make corners. On smooth floors it's easy to kick the rear end out to turn around or drift. On carpet it will have enough traction to roll. This is my cats favorite toy, she loves to catch it. It's light enough she can tackle it at speed without any issues. The car is also pretty rugged and has stood up to her chewing on it.One thing to watch out for: if you slide the rear end out sideways hard into a wall sometimes the rear wheels can get pushed in which will pinch the drive train. If it feels like the car has lost some umph just make sure there's a gap by the wheels.

Fun indoor RC
Overall this is a cool little RC. It looks great and seems built fairly well. It is a little slow to accelerate and do wish it had more torque off the line, but once moving it is pretty fun to zoom around the house. I've had zero issues with mine. You can mix and match parts from Team Associated as there are plenty of versions based on this chassis.

Fun little toy
I bought this on a whim because I remembered how much fun I had with an original 1/10th scale RC10T almost 30 years ago.The truck is about the length of a dollar bill, so it’s pretty tiny. Setup was a breeze. Just put the included 4 AA batteries into the transmitter, turn on the truck, push the “bind” button (you have to remove the body to do this, would have been better if the button was located on the underside), turn on the remote, and when the trucks red light stops flashing, you’re ready to go.The truck charges off a cable hidden behind the battery hatch on the remote. Would have been nice if a USB charger was included so you don’t have to drain the transmitter batteries. Charge time is roughly an hour, but you get a good 20 to 30 minutes of reckless driving out of that. After trimming out the steering, it’s a blast to drive. Surprisingly quiet and quick! It handles a low pile carpet with ease but due to its light weight, fast turns will flip it over. Does reasonably well in the street, but it’ll get hung up on grass or leaves.Ive raced this thing around the family room and accidentally launched it off the stairs with no damage. The rear suspension is a solid rear axle with a pair of springs and no built-in adjustability. The front suspension is simply a pair of flexible arms. They are not hinged. No springs, just a little flex. The body is held in place with three spring clips, and the body mounts can be adjusted slightly to raise or lower the body. Doesn’t really do anything except change the look.If you’re too old to be a kid and never going to be an adult and want to play demolition derby in the house with with a couple of kids or equally minded adults, look no further!

COOLTOYS TV Award winner!`
Of the different Team Associated 1/28 series, this one was the most fun and most balanced. Admittedly both of the hosts of COOLTOYS bought every model of the 1/28 series. They each drive different and offer a little more fun in the right environment. The SC28 is the best overall. On a slick surface it drifts clean without sticking and can do donuts at will. Any kind of traction and it holds well for some fast racing. I even bought the clear body to customize it.

Better and worse than you would expect
It's a toy. It's not very powerful and it's built cheaply, and is a fair bit overpriced. Despite that, I was going to give it 4 stars because it is fun and has fully proportional controls and works pretty well. But I knocked an extra star off because of the really awful charging setup. You charge the car from the controller with a little plug coming out the bottom of the controller. That's not totally awful, except it kills the AA batteries that you use in the controller. There's no reason why they couldn't have used a usb connection instead of the jack that they did use. Then you could have charged the car off of anything, not just the controller. So - running the car. It runs around on smooth floors just fine. On my laminate floors it rolls well and can drift and slide when you hit the throttle hard. Don't try it on carpet. I think it just doesn't have enough torque to get going on a bad surface. I have managed to get it to roll off the pile of cables under the tv and off a small rug.The cats love it. The kittens chase it around the room and I can get them running in circles after it. It's great fun. Maybe about the same amount of fun as a laser pointer from their point of view. But much more fun for me.If you have $50 to spare for a cat toy (and have hard wood or laminate floors) go for it.

Great little club racing car
For 50$ you just can't argue with it. If you're looking for something to race against friends with a limited budget and limited track space theirs just nothing else out there. Its not perfect, its not unbreakable, but its fast for its size and requires finesse to keep it on the track. We've found concrete to be the best surface for racing on, black top is fairly decent. Super thin carpet gives you great traction and speed, but traction rolling in the turns isn't much fun. Rather have the car break lose than roll over. Also you can purchase clear shells and make your own custom paint jobs.
