Women always have to be aware of their urinary and vaginal health and sometimes two things can go wrong at the same time causing an issue that needs to be solved. I've had urinary tract issues for years now and have managed them but not completely eliminated them. Then suddenly I was having other issues too. This arrived the day after I ordered it and I tried it for the next two nights. After inserting the gel it did burn slightly but I went right to bed and when I woke up at 4 am it was much milder. Then I went back to bed and felt nothing the next day around 10 am. So I would say the slight burning sensation is not extreme and is very bearable especially since you sleep through most of it. On night two I repeated the instructions and went to bed again. Next day I was feeling so much better. Now today everything is fresh and clean! The only thing I noticed was the pear scent is fairly strong but it goes away by the third day. Wrapping up the applicator in a plastic bag and tossing it out in the trash is a good idea so the scent isn't in your bathroom garbage. I did leave the house the days after the nights I used this no problem. Mostly you can just catch a whiff of the pear scent when peeing. Otherwise it isn't too bad. Would I use this again? Definitely I'm going to get another box to keep on hand. It only took two nights to work and that is not much to worry about! I liked the fast, super effective gel and the healing results. I'm thinking my vaginal health issue was probably causing a reinfection of my bladder. That seems better now too and I took UT-Fem to clear out my bladder so maybe solving two problems at the same time. So don't fear the burn. It really isn't that bad and you'll be asleep most of the time! I am going to try other products by this company, especially the urinary flush! I'm giving this 5 stars because it WORKS!!! The next day after i finished both doses my BV was completely gone. I will say the other reviews about the smell of this product are absolutely correct. It STINKS, I cant even pinpoint what it smells like but it reeks. However, it seriously took away my BV, so, id say its a fair trade. I also put the product in the fridge before use and it kept the burning mild. It was bearable, all in all I recommend because it was a great alternative to taking nasty antibiotics.

I didn't have time to go to the Drs so I wanted to try this. Within two days the BV that I had was gone completely. The product did have a very strong smell so I do recommend staying home the two days while you are using this product. But it works wonders! Now I know what to get !!

Works great but, the chemically inclined scent is pungent. I mean it really stinks. It also burns a little at first. But, it I’d more effective than other otc products I’ve used.

Works very well. However, the odor is STRONG. It's a very potent herb/chemical smell (yes, that's a weird combination of smells). Definitely don't use it if you have anywhere to go because the smell travels with you. I used it at night and it was still very strong the next morning. After washing in the morning it went away 90%, but I still got a whif every time I would pee. I was self conscious that people around me at work could smell it. BUT it did what it promised so two days of weird odor wasn't a bad trade off. And it also is a very clean/non toxic product. All ingredients are from natural sources. I checked multiple clean product sites and it was top rated.

Wow this stuff REALLY works. Yes it did burn on the first dose but I think I had a really bad BV infection. BV also caused me to have a bladder irritation/infection. Two days later, after FemiClear and a couple days of AZO Defense no BV and bladder infection is gone!! I’m extremely grateful!!

I tried this because during pregnancy i had issues monthly and my doctor tried oral meds, gels, nightly boric (which masked the smell for a day or 2) but nothing completely fixed the problem. Me being a person that has never had any issues, i had to shower more often, use a fem wash, non scented soap and tissue, immediately shower after sex, no more cream pies and spend $100’s on the best of the best probiotics. Nothing completely worked for more than two days UNLESS i was doing all these things DAILY. So i bought this at my new OBGYNs recommendation. It did tingle but it didn’t burn and has a smell for a day or two but what i can say is that smell beats being FISHY! It’s been a week now and no smell, no 36 step program just to stay fresh, but i have not had sex with my partner because my OBGYN advised the issue is my partner likely has it on him and needs to also have antibiotics. I asked how this is happening and do i neeed to beat his a$$ for cheating. Keep in mind I’ve had the same partner for years, always kept up with hygiene and never had a smell but before pregnancy i was on a lot of hormones to conceive. She said hormone change causes bv very OFTEN. So essentially he is just carrying it because we couldn’t your ph back on track. She prescribed him antibotics and advised me to let anyone who listens know. If you ever had bv and don’t treat both parties you’ll never beat it. To all the reviews about the TERRRIBLE smell of FEMICLEAR or how it burns. Maybe you’ve because nose blind because i can guarantee you don’t smell better without it and alsoooooo if it comes back docs states you likely have a more serious issue. In conclusion, if you’re tired of smelling you cannot lose trying it so far it’s the only thing that works. And i mean no smell after 2 days.

Just completed both doses today so I’m not able to determine its efficacy. However, thought it would be helpful to share some opinions on the application. First, pantyliner is not enough, this thing is very oily and it leaks! I found out the hard way when it leaked through my panty to my shorts on the first night. Use a pad; I used two pads stacked forward and back to ensure ample coverage up and beyond my butt crack. Yes, it burns and my lady was on fire! Not for long though, the burning sensation subsided quickly after two minutes. Yes, the smell is strong. You can however get rid of the smell with some vaginal soap, it’s not that bad overall and the smell don’t exactly linger the next day when it’s all “flushed” out. Hope that it works.
