This gorgeous statue is VASTLY more detailed than the picture shown. A great sculpt and vibrant colors give this an easy A+!!!
I'm a big fan of Green Lantern, and I've been collecting the DC statues and busts for a long while. Too long, since I've got an entire room full of them. LOL But when DC Direct started making statues with the translucent colored materials to achieve affects like Wonder Woman flying throuh sun lit clouds or Green Lantern rising up into the air on columns of green fire, they created sheer magic. (DC Dynamics: Wonder Woman Statue DC Direct DC Dynamics: Green Lantern Statue). The sheer beauty and detail of this sculpt is amazing. The translucent green material that achieved the effect of him being surrounded by emerald energy and lashing out with a punch is absolutely beautiful, especially when back lit properly. The picture does NOT do this statue 'Justice', so to speak. (See what I did there? LOL) I ordered the statue for my collection with a sort of 'Meh, we'll see.' attitude. But when I opened it up and got the plastic bag away from it, I literaly had to hold my breath. Right away though, I noticed how extremely careful you have to be when lifting, it's VERY delicate, but worth every penny. If you are a Green Lantern fan, then this is in the tops of the GL statues you want to shot for. If you add this beauty to your collection, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
