If you own a TJ, you know the struggle of finding a place to mount a phone or small tablet. Given the price of this thing I was a little concerned that the quality would be poor. Nope, solid build quality!The arm that holds the mount/phone holder is aluminum with a standard size ball that easily adapts to other phone and tablet mounts.The unit includes some double sided tape and screws to secure it to the dash. I tried the double sided tape first, but had no luck. The screws were the way to go.My only complaint is that the mount/phone holder is a bit small. If you have an Otterbox or similar type of case, it won’t fit with a large phone.I have no issues with vibration even off-road. The holder is very stable and holds the phone in the position I set it in.

Looks great, had to screw 3 screws through dash but if you decide to remove this tray the rubber pad from the factory will cover the holes. Double sided tape is useless, after peeling backing off tape I realized the tape doesn't even come in contact with the dash at any point, may as well not be on there. The phone holder will not return to center, one side is always out further than the other so the phone doesn't sit in the middle of the holder. Does a decent job at holding a phone in one place.Update: phone cradle broke, contacted seller and they shipped me a new one free of charge, customer service is top notch.

EZ PZ... piece of cake to install and holds the phone right where it should be. Some storage too.

Love the size and concept, but a lack of mobility for the phone cradle is a negative, can't lean the phone to a more natural viewing position as the arm is an odd position. Provides a good solution for a old problem with the Jeep TJ but it just needs to be a little different. Easy to set up and holds the phone securely

This thing was a game changer. I did a little bit of modifying but used this as a base for those CarPlay things instead of my phone. 100/10 recommend this even for the standard phone mount that comes with it (which was very sturdy)
