30565 Allsop Solar Glass Tea Lantern-Mint

Excellent run time, very attractive, doesn’t swing wildly in the wind and keeps the water out. A definite step above your usual solar light.

I purchased this as a gift for someone and it's just the perfect type of item for giving as a present. The hand blown glass looks expensive, like something you'd buy in a gift shop yet the price was under $20 which is great if you're on a budget. I liked it so much I bought a white one for myself. They are solar powered so the more sunlight they get,the better they glow at night. I found if I left it out all day in sunlight it would be really bright for 3-4 hours and then get dimmer after that and go dark after about 2-3 more. In most cases you aren't needing solar night at 2am in the morning so they really should last long enough for most people.They aren't like flashlight bright - they are more of a nice glow. On a dark night it was bright enough to play cards by on the patio table but it was a little hard to see. It looks beautiful on the patio table in the evening while sipping wine with friends and we've had quite a few people ask where we got it.Now that it's winter we've put away everything so I turned off the switch and put it in storage and we'll pull it out in the Spring/Summer again. Not sure if the battery will be ready to go in the spring but I read in the reviews that you can replace the batteries so no issues there.I only write reviews on items I love or hate so very happy with this one!

I bought 4 of these in yellow two weeks ago and LOVE THEM!! They are quality made glass (not plastic) with color incorporated into the glass (not painted on), delicate, beautiful shape overall. I use two on my WEST facing porch on a table and two on my SOUTH facing deck so they get good sun to charge during the day. They turn on at dusk and look like they have a votive candle inside or like a jar full of lightning bugs.I am so happy and have sent the link to these to my friends and will buy more for gifts. I was glad that the handle can be folded down since mine are not hanging. Came securely packaged, peel off the sticker on the solar panel and they are ready to go. There are not words to describe how beautiful they are. I wish everyone had some on their porch for me to enjoy at night.

It does not look like the golden saffron in the picture. It is a very bland yellow color and definitely not the rich golden color in the picture. It was a bit smaller than I expected, but that is my fault. Read the specs on this so you know what you are getting. I'm afraid I didn't look at listed height of the product. It is not plastic, it is glass which is a plus.It only worked for a couple of days. So, I tried an alternate battery from another solar lamp I have and the tea lantern worked. Obviously, a bad battery came with the unit. I ordered a replacement battery which cost me an additional $6 or so with shipping and everything.NOTE: I originally ordered the wrong battery. The battery you'll need if you get a bad battery is: Coin Button Rechargeable Battery 40mAh NiMH 1.2V Flat Top Cell

I have six of these in different colors hanging from small shepard's hooks in my backyard garden. They are absolutely charming. When a few of the lights stopped working after a few years of use, I contacted the company. They were responsive and gave me instructions on how to fix the issue myself (which worked for some of the lanterns) and pleasantly agreed to send replacement parts for the ones I couldn't get working again on my own. I am a very happy customer and will be buying more for myself and for gifts!

I bought 3 of these lanterns to hang in the yard on a small tree that had died. The tree, although dead and dry, is too solidly in the ground to dig up. I wanted to decorate the branches while I wait for the roots to rot. The lanterns look great on the tree - decorative, not too big, not too small. They are pretty both day and night. I really enjoy looking at them in the evening. They have been hanging outside for five months now, and still shine with the same brightness. I had seen them originally in a gardening catalog for almost double the price I paid on Amazon, so I am very pleased with the product and the price.

We have two of these lanterns in our partly sunny garden. They get enough light to run several hours each night. Would have rated 5 Stars but we had difficulty getting two that looked close to each other when glowing. This is because of the glass thickness difference from unit to unit. They offer a pretty glow when on and splash of color during day. Ours are hung in direct weather and are doing fine. Nice feature is the bottom is slightly flattened so can be placed on table or deck rail.

The mint one they have pictured is very different than the one I received. It isn't as green and the mustard streaks are more pronounced. These also look like they have been painted on the outside and not part of the glass. When the mint one is lit at night, it is kind of an unattractive grayish color. I tried to order the white one, thinking it would do better, but they sent me the wrong color, they sent the amber one which I sent back. I decided to go another route and got the mosaic ones on this website instead, which I am very pleased with.

These are a gift. Allsop used to be a long lasting solar light but my latest purchases have not stood up well. Hoping these will last at least a year????

Absolutely love this great addition to our outdoor space! Wonderful colour, perfect for any decor & provides a gentle warm light for enjoying the sunset & all without electricity. Great purchase!

Very pretty accent light on a patio table. However, it doesn’t provide a lot of light, only a soft glow.

Bought these for my mother for her outdoor patio. The previous ones (same brand/style!) lasted 3 years and had to be replaced because a severe wind storm broke them. Not sure why there are so many 1-star reviews!? These are beautiful, affordable, long-lasting, functional and environmentally-friendly products.
