Recently we had an outdoor wedding & the venue had an outdoor fireplace included in the package. I had used the cones before & decided to send a package as a surprise to the happy couple!! They were pleased & very excited to see them. We all enjoyed watching the fire come to life with such pretty colors. I will order them again!!

I love these to brighten up my fire on these cold winter nights. I didn't rate them for heat, because they are really just for looks, not to generate heat. I didn't rate them for thickness because they are pinecones with a coating that produces the color so I can't say that they are "thick". These cones bring back childhood memories as my mother bought something similar in my child hood that we only used for special occasions. These cheer me up as she passed a long time ago and I miss her, especially around the holidays.

I bought these for my husband for his birthday as part of his new fire bowl themed gift. We used them one night, tossing three in at a time. They burned for a long time! At least 10-15 minutes, I would say, if not longer. We saw a variety of colors, most prominently green and blue. It was gorgeous. This was a fun treat to have when enjoying the outdoors :)

These really worked, gotta admit I was skeptical, I thought it might have a mild, brief flame, but it was a lot brighter and longer lasting than I expected. They do have a little bit of a smell as soon as you open them and you can't roast marshmallows or any food over the fire, but it's perfect for a romantic mood.

This was a impulse purchase with no regrets. In fact, I have ordered more for gifts & for our hunting cabin, we like these so much. After this very long, very cold winter, this has been a nice distraction from the below zero temps, making us feel like all this cold weather is FUN, since our fireplace fires are so gorgeous. (OK, OK, maybe fun is stretching it a little bit, but hey, positive thinking here) Anyway, I use two or three at a time, one just doesn't do them justice & no, these are not a necessity, but come on, you gotta spoil yourself now & then, don't you?

DO NOT GET WET! The chemical on them will way of and go onto waterer is under it and it's a bit corrosive. But that was our daily and not the products! They had gorgeous colors! Huge hit with the kiddos! Lasted for a while to!

Purchased for a little fun in our outdoor Thanksgiving. Everyone took turns dropping one in and we watched the colors, but even with one at a time while we all wore masks the smoke made us cough. I would imagine if it were summer and you need not be close to the fire this would not be an issue, but four feet away was not enough.
