Great for Extending a Cable Reach and also Cat / Kitten Resistant
We have kittens who are absolutely addicted to chewing the standard white cables that come with most devices. I don't know what it is about those white cables - the kittens are drawn to them like magnets. So I wanted to get some braided cables instead. I got these extension cables specifically to use to plug in my BluRay DVD player, which requires two cables, to the front of my PC. This would allow me to put the DVD player up on my desk where it was much more useful. The cables worked like a charm. I can now easily put DVDs in and out of my drive without having to dig under my desk. And the cats don't chew on the cable. For some reason the braided exterior is not as appealing to them.I do have one caveat for people. If I plug my Samsung Galaxy phone directly into the front of my machine with its normal cable, I can both power the phone and transfer files. The phone shows up as a device. But if I plug the phone into this extension cable, it will only power. It will no longer be a device that I can access. That's a bit bizarre. Apparently it needs a fairly strong signal in order to do that transfer work and this extension cable isn't providing that.Still, the Blu Ray DVD player works quite fine via the extension. I can power things via the extension. And the cats don't chew it. So it does what I need it to do.

Well-Built and Great-Looking USB 3.0 Extension Cables
These are extremely well-constructed cables. The end plugs are large and study, and the cables themselves, which are covered in nylon braid, not only seem strong and nicely flexible, but also look fantastic, particularly if you get the set with one of each of three colors (blue, red, and gold). Note again: these are EXTENSION cables, not standard USB cables, meaning that there is a female end plug on one side and a male end plug on the other: you use these to attach to existing USB 3 cables you are using, but that are not quite long enough. The quality, appearance and price easily make these a Five Star item, and I've now purchased a second set because of it! I highly recommend the three-color pack so you can distinguish them from one another when in use, but if you want all your cables in a single color, you can get the three-pack in any one color of your choice.

★★★★ ≛》Good cables, just be careful pluging things into them.
These cables are really nice. I was/am a bit worried about the length, because they are longer than the USB-3 limits in the USB-3 specification and that predicts performance degradation. I have put them through some HEAVY use, on both advanced & outdated hardware. So far, I have yet to see any performance issues. The shrouding of the cables is a nice, legitimate cloth layer that seems to be very durable. Only time will tell. The only issue I have, is the connecters. They aren't bad or made from cheap materials or anything like that, the problem is that they are 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗬 tight. So you will need to be really careful plugging delicate equipment into the socket. They would have received 5 stars, if it wasn't for that and the fact that I reserve 5 stars for over the top incredible products. So 4 stars is pretty much my maximum rating normally. These are good cables and they are worth the buy so far.

Works with Oculus rift headset but not the sensors
Overall these are solid, well built 3.0 USB extenders and worked with all my low demanding devices. Unfortunately, these did NOT work with my oculus rift sensors, which was the main reason for purchase. I would recommend they add this point into their detail section to avoid any future unnecessary returns. All my other devices worked fine with these extenders example mouse, keyboard, joystick, cell phone/fast charging.

Preserves eyesight and sanity.
I bought these these for my grandsons to use with their PS4 controllers so they wouldn't need to sit six inches away from the TV. The cables worked well, nice length without any performance impact with the PS4. I found myself using one with my phone charger (which had a really short cord) so I could use my phone while it was charging. We also used them while on a road trip, the USB ports were all up front and the boys were sitting in the back watching movies. The long cord allowed the devices to charge as the movies played on. I did notice that one of the three cords became a little finicky, it still works but sometimes you have to move it around a bit.

I have too many cables...
Fast transfer speed, extends the range of my many, MAAAANNNYYY USB devices.I have a few hubs plugged into these, because I have like over 20 things connected to my desktop. I live in a Cable Hell.Definitely useful, if you need to get a bit of range from the back of your computer. Not sure why "camera quality" is ratable, maybe b/c you can plug a camera into them and signal sometimes is an issue??, but I can't vouch for that spec -- my webcam was a cheap thing on clearance at a local shop, so it has bad quality anyway (only like 480p and kinda grainy). They are very fast, though.

Don't know what "camera quality" has to do with it...
I'm happy with these extension cords because so many of the items' usb cords are just barely long enough to be used! As soon as I received these, two of them were used immediately - one on a light bar for my 88-key keyboard (to help teach me to play). The usb cable on the light bar was reasonably long, but not long enough to reach the closest outlet. The other was used immediately to charge my Kindle while it was being used to listen to an Audible book. I wouldn't have been able to have the Kindle in my lap while it charged without the extension cord. I also like the strong, braided cord on these - no kinking!

pretty but unreliable
I have a memory card reader that doesn't work with these, but does work with a different cable. Worst thing is I gave one to my daughter and she has been having problems with it. They work for some things, and I'll probably just try to relegate them to simple roles that they work for. I haven't done extensive experimentation yet, and can't quite bring myself to return them, so I can't give it a highly negative review, but on the whole I do wish I hadn't bought them. Nothing worse than finicky cables, but so hard to know in advance which ones are good.
