I am new to CPAP but have tried the ResMed full face mask (bruised feeling nose bridge for days not to mention overly puffy eyes and gritty feeling eyes in the morning, the nasal mask (no mouth covering) but the headgear wouldn’t stay on and the chinstrap was useless. Tried the Dreamwear ‘full face mask’ (doesn’t cover nose) with the tube on top but the air leaks all over the place all night was more than I could handle. Then there is the ResMed Air Fir F30. Mask is comfortable with not a lot of air leaks but the head gear is atrocious!! That top strap not only slides forward to end up mid forehead but the side straps dig into the area behind your ears and not much more comfortable to have the straps over the ears. And, I also tried the Mirage Liberty. Started out great - first night was 0 / ZERO air leaks but it is a very rigid plastic and as the days progressed, it got more uncomfortable, and more air leaks. The head gear worked really good on the F30 tho - not perfect, but WAY better than anything else I’d tried so far. Then I tried ordering these - THIS is how ResMed’s headgear is supposed to feel!! My insurance covers my equipment but only thru their provider - these are so comfortable, I’ll pay for them myself just to get a good night’s sleep! I can’t vouch for how well they’ll hold up, only how comfortable they are and how it fits. Not sure why ResMed insists on that stupid top strap!

Easy to replace as needed, and fits my face well. That said, not everyone uses a full mask, so your mileage on comfort will vary.I particularly appreciate the ease of buying replacement parts and having them shipped to me.

Fit: different, but more comfortable than the original F30 head strap. The annoying strap over the forehead on the F30 original is gone in this replacement. Instead, this strap secures around the back of the head. In just a few nights, I've experienced a snugger fit (a tad tight at first but it is relaxing nicely) and virtually no movement or loosening during the night. The Velcro tabs have been secure and I haven't had a need to re-tighten during the night like I needed to do constantly with the OEM strap. So far, this has been a major improvement in design and function over the OEM model. I believe I'll easily get six months use out of this pair and for $5 a month I'll sleep well.

This head gear has a better design that omits the useless velcro top of head adjustment found on the original Res Med product. As a result, this product is secure and comfortable and less prone to sliding forward during the night.The velcro is not quite as tacky as the Res Med product but it holds well enough to do the job.The magnets are identical to the ones on the Res Med product.This product is less expensive and I am glad I took a chance on it.I will purchase this again when the time comes.

Price is very good, but the Velcro comes open almost every time that the mast is removed. This is a real problem during the night when you need to remove the mask and then return to bed only to find the straps have opened requiring the fit adjustment to be made again. The lack of a top adjustment is also annoying when trying to adjust the strap to not rub the top of the ears.

Save your money and buy an authentic Resmed headgear. Horrible fit.

Since I started using a cpap machine the one issue I always seemed to have was the headgear provided by my cpap supplier. It was resmed headgear that always seemed to irritate the skin where the top of my ears connect to me head. It was actually painful at times. I also found the headgear would wear out quickly.Wanting to see if there was an alternative I checked Amazon and found this one. There aren’t many reviews but the reviews there were looked good so I decided to give it a go.Best decision I have made as on night one I realized that this headgear was way better than the resmed. No more ear irritation and fits perfectly. Mask doesn’t come lose overnight creating air gaps like the resmed did.I can’t speak on the longevity yet but at the price point and based on the comfort I will definitely be buying this again and again and again.

They are actually more comfortable than the brand name. The Velcro straps wear out too fast and come loose easily.

Fits like a glove. Doesn’t slide or move around during the night. Very comfortable too. Will be buying this from now on.
