I love all the sections. I have put seed beads in each one to keep my colors separated.

A great bang for the buck. First, you may read in other reviews that this is a soft item with no board on the back. That is correct, however, this company makes these pads WITH a board so choose between the two. I wanted a soft moveable mat that I could place in various trays. I do move them around and place them on top of each other. I like the size of partitions on the mat, the measurement guide is helpful and the fact that it has a ridge all the way around to prevent spills is a bonus. A great product at a great price.

Flimsy. Unfinished raggy edges. Looks like a mock up; not intended for sale. changed my rating after using them in a recliner. Texture of foam surface held each bead. being soft and pliable the surface held the. beads. the beads remained where placed. It was comfy on my tummy and did not respond to my accidental bumps. Ireally prefer these to my felt sprayed hard molded trays with covers.

I bought these for a Christmas gift and was shocked when I received them. They are a very thin piece of spnge foame and with fet grids glued on. I could have gone to a craft store or even home improvement store for the supplies and made them for 1/3 the cost. Even though these were on the person’s wish list I was embarrassed to give them this so I ended up buying more items. I don’t know much if anything about beading but this seems absolutely worthless. I am not sure how the beads will even stay in the grids. But its what they wanted so I am going with it.

I have used a couple of dozen beading surfaces and many beading mat products. Hobbyworker is my favorite product of all time. I usually have several projects I am working at the same time, so the small mat is good for me, but I also intend to get some of the larger mats too. The mat is sturdy enough to move from my upstairs craft room to downstairs and back again. I appreciate the lettered small slots for beads. I wondered why the included shovel was so small, but once I used the mat I saw that the shovel fit the bead dishes perfectly. Also, I can always use an additional craft tweezer. Having them together keeps me from loosing either. Previously I added my own labels with sticky labels and used a flocked jewelry tray. This small and integrated to the mat is far better.
