I purchased these for my upcoming trip to Hawaii. I am still on the fence about wearing them given that I am more of trunk or board short type of guy. I did go up a size from a medium to a large. I am glad that I did since they run small from what I read from other reviews. The large size seems like a medium fit. It comes with this removable cup to insert in the pouch area that I probably will not use. The cut is not too skimpy in my opinion, and figured I would get a great tan wearing these on the beach in Waikiki.

This is an OK suit. Thought I might try it for lap swimming,but it is a little cheeky in my opinion. Super comfortable and great for a trip to our favorite hotspring. It is true to size. I ordered a size up and probably should not have. I have other cheaper swim briefs that I have been more impressed with. Feel like the price is a little high for what you get. Seems well made. Definitely a fashion suit and not a fitness suit. Ordered for the color and the side width and both of those are great. I do like the fit,cut and comfort though not sure how the material will hold up.

The size chart had me scratching my head.I have a 32" waist and wear a medium in all pants and shorts. According to the seller, a Medium is for a 37-39 inch waist. That suit would be down around my ankles the moment I went into the water. Knowing swimsuits tend to run small, I ordered the Small for 34-36 inch waists thinking that might still be too big. But, the XS just seemed absurd to oder.Of course, when the bathing suit arrived I could barely get the Small over my hips and abandoned even trying to put it on. It went back into the box immediately for return.The swimsuit is nice but the sizing is totally wrong. Ignore the inches they provide and buy your regular size: S, M, L...
