This serum is packed with natural herbs and Japanese hot spring water to moisturize your skin. It has a pleasant scent (very light) of the botanical herbs which I love much better than chemical-based fragrance.I have been using Hyakkaso's soap, toner, and this serum for a week. Frankly, I never thought my skin could feel this soft without moisturizers. It's been a week since I started doing their simple 3-step skincare and voila! Every morning, my skin is hydrated even though I haven't used any cream-based products. My skin feels amazing. I feel like I have been feeding tons of unnecessary chemicals to my skin for decades! I love this simpler routine. You can always count on Japanese skincare brands :)

Great lightweight serum. Consistency is slightly sticky but once absorbed into the skin it goes away. The serum is brown like in color and has a slight herbal scent to it. Leaves my skin feeling moisturized without looking greasy. I can use this both in the AM and PM. Does not clog my pores. Comes in a pump style bottle. I do find it to be a little bit pricey.

This is the first time I've tried hyaluronic acid in a serum instead of gel or cream. It's interesting because it's a bit stringy. I don't know how else to describe it, it's definitely not slimy or like egg whites, but it's smooth, not sticky. A little goes a long way. Just one pump is enough for my full face. I use Cerave nighttime moisturizer afterwards for extra moisturizing power. I've noticed on the nights I use the serum, my face is silky but not greasy like it normally is. It's a big spend but so far I like it!

This is a very nice, thick serum. It is a slight amber color with a subtle scent that goes away after application. It is actually quite moisturizing after use. I've tried other brands of hyaluronic serums, but this one is the most moisturizing ones I have tried. It feels sticky after initial applications, but it absorbs in to the skin easily and my skin feels nice after using it. I didn't have any adverse reaction to the product. It is a bit expensive, but it does feel like a premium product and I really like it. It's decent sized bottle (50ml) so it will last longer than the usual smaller sized bottles of serum (30ml).

This is the first product I’ve tried by this company. Two days of patch tests, and I had no adverse reaction. I’ve been using three pumps every night, and while it feels rather sticky at first, within a few minutes, my skin absorbs it all. I have noticed that my skin then feels extremely smooth. It has no scent and while I can’t say I’ve seen any real improvement, I also haven’t experienced any negative effects.It is early though, since I’ve had this for less than a month. It should last me for quite a while. I’ll update if I see a reduction in my fine wrinkles. I expect that if that happens, it will have taken months of daily use.So far though my first reaction to using this company’s product is that it is a 👍.

The Hyakkaso JAPAN - Hyaluronic Acid & Herbs Serum comes in a pump-style bottle with no additional packaging. Just a bottle wrapped in plastic. Be aware.So: I use two pumps for my face. It feels very strange the first time you use it. I pumped it on my palm, then rubbed my hands together and pressed it into my face. When I rubbed my hands together, it felt almost slimy. Pressing it into my face, the serum felt sticky, and I honestly didn't think it would absorb into my skin. However, it did, and after a minute or two, the skin on my face felt elastic and dewy when I touched it.I've been using this for several days now, and though I have very dry skin, I think it's been adding moisture. It feels VERY gentle on my skin, especially after I've exfoliated or used a glycolic or retinoid treatment. However, the price point is very high, so I'd take that into consideration.

I have been using this serum for a couple of weeks and I really like it. Before putting it on my face, I tested it on my inner arm to be sure it wasn't irritating to my skin. It wasn't. I know hyaluronic acid always feels great and moisturizing, but this serum also contains hot spring water with its minerals, as well as herbal ingredients. It comes in a pump bottle, and a small pump goes a long way. Hyaluronic acid feels slippery when you apply it, as this serum does, but it smooths easily over my skin and leaves it feeling soft. There is no scent.I love this serum and can tell that it has smoothed fine wrinkles on my face. I will keep using it!
