this is a great little kit for small around the house and garage jobs. It would be good for someone just learning how to weld or someone that just needed a small portable stick welder. I would stick to mild steel and welding rods no bigger than 3/32, 1/16th in rods worked for I needed. nice little welder!

Only got one pack of welding electrodes. Other then that awesome welder.

This kit is awesome. It’s not super powerful and after some time you may want something bigger. But as a starter or a young persons gift this is really awesome. I’ve done two projects now just from YouTube and internet tutorials and this kit has been great.

Great starter welder great value I do not do allot of welding just wanted something and it seems to do a great job very handy light weight . The only thing I was upset about was it's says you get two different packages of welding rods with this package and you actually do not I'll get over that . I am really surprised what this thing will do but I have only had it a few weeks no issues so far. Great helmet gloves etc.

Mine was sent with only one package of electrodes instead of the two advertised. If it were not for that I would give it a 5 star as a rookie welder who found this easy to use and learn on!

Just opened and so far my husband has been very happy with this set however it only camr with one box of rods when it is supposed to have two so hopefully we can get ahold of the company and get that fixed because shipping was fast and quality looks good so far and if it wasnt for that would have given it 5 stars

Complete set - worth the money.

Everything in the kit is high quality. Excellent price for what you get. I am a weekend welder, and this being 120 volts is perfect for home use. It comes with 3/32" 7014 electrodes which I've found to be the best ones for this welder. I've tried 6011, 6013, and 7018. 6013 is second best. Don't waste your time with 6011.

I bought this as my first welding machine to learn the basics. I was looking for a small, lightweight machine that can connect to anywhere in my house without tipping the breakers, and it does just that. Keep in mind that it is only 120V, so don't expect to get full for anything over 1/2 inches thick. I bought the full starting pack, and for an additional 160$ CAD I got 2 nice pairs of gloves, a box of welding rods, a welding helmet with adjustable settings, a wire brush, and a metal grinding disk. In my opinion, I think the price was reasonable, and this saved me from having to buy all of these items separately. The machine is also TIG capable if you buy the attachment for it, but I haven't done that and cannot comment on it.
