Great Lids
I really like these lids. I have very few failures, mostly due to operator head space and timing.Easy to clean. Dishwasher safe or hand wash. Last for years (so far). Reusable. What more could you want?I don't write on mine, but I do use dissolvable labels that I buy in bulk.I'm much happier using these lids than the standard metal lid.

Do not spend your money
I've had nothing but problems with these. I followed the directions to a T and wtill had failures. I've tried more head space and everything. Still 50%- 60% not sealed. Today, lost an entire batch of applesauce. Totally disappointed. I don't know about all the "positive" reviews.

They do not seal
Out of 50-60 jars being canned and recanedThey are just not sealing and we have lost the food in several that looked sealed but was not fully sealed
