I concur with many of the reviews. The cardigan is much softer than expected and has an almost cable knit type knit. The lettering on the back is like a light weight patch, with the texture of say the letter on a varsity jacket - very soft.I purchased an XL and typically where a 1X, and occasionally a 2X and found the fit slightly oversized. It's quite perfect to my preference. I had it on w/ flares, a site slit tee and it covers my bottom. Like, do I "need" it in another color?My only qualm and this really isn't on the product or the seller, but more Amazon. I tried to report but the issue or "other" is not an option to share feedback and the wait time to share feedback is out of this world. With that said, Amazon, please don't allow your fulfillment center to fulfill an order, any order, any product by leaving it at the destination literally in the bag the seller sent it to you in. Meaning the item is in packaging but it never made it into a mailer or a box. I'm all about saving materials and reducing waste but you simply can't leave a bag on someones porch that clearly has holes in it. That is not appropriate, at all.

I bought this as try before you buy purchase thinking it would be too small and/or scratchy. I wear cardigans even in the summer. It can be freezing in some places in the summer. Anyway, as a former teacher, I found early on that a cardigan was NECESSARY. Temp changes, style choice, comfort. For 30 years I'm know as the cardigan lady. This cardigan is a beautiful Robin's egg blue with the "rock and love" lettering in black, on the back. It looks like acrylic yarn but it is no where near the scratch of acrylic. It may be the most soft cardigan I've ever owned. It's 100% acrylic and I'm amazed. The cloth has a slight stretch to it as well. Only con is: no pockets. Bummer. I should take a point off the review but I just love it too much.
