Amazing waterfall. Really made my pond. Product description says it's not intended for a pond, but if yours is pretty clear with no gunk or debri floating around, should be fine. I also ordered the little brush to clear out debri, which was helpful off the bat, since the tub I connected had a decaying lily pad leaf in it and caught inside the fountain obstructing water flow. So, took the cap stone off the waterfall, and since it's clear, I could see the issue immediately. The leaf was cleared quickly and immediately. What an amazing and calming effect the blue light has. I did the pond myself, and this product took it from pretty nice to DANG! Guests at our home just stare at the pond agape with awe and admiration. Made me look like a pro! I'm guessing for the $170 I spent for 2 each, I just boosted my home's resale value by $5K. LOL. Also, using the Tetrapond water garden pump 1000 gph and works fine (using 1" corrugated pond tubing); pumps adequate flow to make the water fall in a nice "sheet" form.One thing to note; I am not super technically savvy. I am learning as I go and read a lot of reviews to help direct and guide me. Since I was using this for a pond application, I had to buy a 1-1/4" male thread with 1" hose barb to connect my hose from my pond pump. For the lay person, this can all be very frustrating to get an awesome product in the mail and have no idea how to hook it up. I had to google for this little piece. Would be nice if these little things were more articulated in the description I guess or could be found among the suggested product pairing.

I installed this with a pond I had built using stone from a big box store...Pros:I wanted a invisible style waterfall rather than a big chunky black plastic one and this fits the bill perfectly. I used a thick tile to run across the top of the stone either side of it to support the weight of the stones on top and not have them pressing on the unit.Super easy to set up (you can't really go wrong it's one pipe to connect!)The water really does flow out like a perfect sheet of water.Cons:The only small gripe I have is the way the light looks in person - it is not a perfect still blue glow it as you see in the picture - it actually looks like flickering leds as the water flows through the waterfall past the lights and it doesn't radiate out past the waterfall opening. I tried to like it but think it looks a little tacky in the setting I have it so have actually just left the light uplugged now as it looks odd and will install some underwater lights. On thinking about how LED light works you would know it doesn't look like the picture but I didn't consider that at the time. If I had seen the lights in person beforehand I probably would not have spent the money.Overall I really like it but would rather pay less for one without the light fixture which would be a 5 star product.

It works well out of the box but you may not be able to use it in an outside pond unless you have a pre-filter on your pump otherwise you'll be cleaning it constantly. It is a little fragile - you will want to make sure that you have a nice flat surface or it will bend some once heated in the sun. Also make sure that your pump is rated high enough for the flow. Or maybe you need to use a smaller hose from the 1 1/4 fitting that comes with.The stream can separate and trickle down the face of your waterfall wall (so make sure that the liner is behind the wall or sealed good also when the wind blows it can blow the water out of the pond due to the thin stream so keep that in mind when designing your waterfall and pond. You don't want your pond to drain and burn up your pump. Maybe I should have contacted support as well to get some advice. Over all - eh. for the high price it really can be a pain. This is the second one I bought and the first one only lasted a season. If this one only lasts a season I won't buy another.It may say not to use in out door ponds on the box this year not sure about the first box last year - but the pics make it look like it is for outdoor use.When it works - it looks nice.

The LED lighting stopped working after the initial testing which was for less than a minute. Unfortunately, after I installed it, it didn't last but for a few minutes. I contacted the seller through Amazon e-mail and was not sure if Amazon answered or Waterworld. They recommended that I contact the original manufacturer. The manufacturer was very responsive and sent me a new transformer. It worked for 3 or 4 minutes and then failed. I called the original manufacturer again and asked for tech assist. They sent me a new light assembly and transformer without question.

I rate this product with four stars, reason: too fragile. First shipment, item arrived broken. Acrilic products must be shipped with better protection. However the supplier responsibly sent me a new item which arrived in perfect conditions.The good part about this product is the neat effect the led light and the trim water gets with the acrilic is awesomeIf the desired effect is to have a lighted waterfall, this is the product, but must have a special care.

We have been installing these waterfalls for years. Perfect sheer every time. LED lights are great. Highly recommend these waterfalls.

This item is exactly as described and came well packed to prevent any damage. The shipping was on time and I would definitely order from this supplier again. The waterfall piece appears to be very good quality material and is working well for our pool waterfall at night. The blue color is bright and looks great at night.
