Purchased for our 7yr old Autistic son for Christmas. He likes snakes and this was a great gift option. Easily one of his favorite gifts from the holiday. It’s just the right amount of surprise and predictability in its movement and function that it’s fun for him without stress.

My son absolutely loooves this. We purchased this one as well as the lizard. It’s pretty realistic (for a 4 year old) and he loves to “prank” people and have it slither in the kitchen while I’m making dinner or by the couch while dad is watching tv. My son has gotten lots of enjoyment out of this toy. Unfortunately it did break within a few months but i think that was more due to our rough 4 yr old then the actual toy. The lizard is still holding up.

I ordered a red one at my sons request. After I submitted the order the snake appeared orange in the details. Orange wasn’t even a color option when ordering. I rechecked what I had ordered and it said I ordered red. Snake comes and sure enough it’s bright orange. Thankfully my son was so excited to finally have one that he didn’t care that it was orange. The tail has come apart a few times but it is easily fixed. My sons love it though and it seems to work great.

I purchased to snakes. The both work when first turned on but within 5 minutes the black one stopped working and we can’t get it to go at all.Unfortunately for me, the refurb window closed because I purchased them before I went away in October and gave them to my grandsons today for early ChristmasAnd now one doesn’t work.

We have always had good luck with Zuru toys, and this is no exception. We bought both the Robotic Lizard and the Snake and they both arrived on time and well packed. Both items were bigger than expected so we were pleasantly surprised. Once out of the box the only thing we needed to do is to insert the batteries. The Lizard takes 2 AA batteries (not included) and the snake takes 2 AAA batteries (not included). Reading some of the reviews we have seen others commenting about the battery installation and the difficult time they had. We didn't experience this. We used a very small flathead screwdriver for the lizard and a very small phillips head for the snake. Both screws came out easily. Once the batteries were in all you have to do is flip the power switch (located underneath) on and your ready to go!We were very surprised on how both the lizard and snake moved. The snake slithers as a real one does, and is incredibly lifelike! The lizard is also very close to the real thing. We were filming a YT video for our channel and we did try these outside. The snake had a little problem on the sidewalk moving freely, however, the sidewalk was also covered with a lot of debris, so we assumed it was because of that. Put it on a smooth surface though and it will go with no problems at all!!Both the snake and the lizard are great buys for the price. We have done videos on toys that were much more expensive and not near the fun as these. This is such a cool toy! My son loved it. But it broke within days. A small wire inside the head disconnected. We like it so much we bought a second one. That one also broke within a couple days.

Ordered this snake for my 7 yr old son. He absolutely loves it! He takes it everywhere. It moves, and acts like a real snake. Love it!

My grandson loves this. He likes to watch it slithering across the floor. He has the lizard as well and tries to have them race each other. The lizard goes his own way, but he tries. It's cute.
