This one is the best!
The media could not be loaded. This is the best one! I bought three different stirling engines and sent the others back. I gave this as a gift and had to get another for myself. It’s smooth, quiet and well made. It works great when steeping tea. The only thing I would suggest is to be careful of the condensation on the bottom. Maybe add some feet or put it on some kind of stand or just dry it off. So if you know a physics teacher who drinks tea… Hint hint

Great model engine all around
The media could not be loaded. The build quality is better than the other leading sterling engine of this type on Amazon, which I have as well. I like that it has ball bearings for the crankshaft in a stout pillar, rather than the simple cone and cup bearings on spindly supports that the other one has. I also appreciate the graphite piston, which is lighter weight and more lubricitous than a ground glass piston. These make it pretty efficient, enough to run off the waste heat from a Raspberry Pi 3, as shown in the video. I tried it with a mug of hot water and it really gets going with that. Finally I think the brass and black finish is quite dashing, makes it look the part of an antique engine. Overall a satisfying purchase, sure to be a great conversation piece.

Stirling engine/bearing
This product does not have the proper bearings for a sterling engine that is designed for low temperature without major drag, I had to pop the sealed Covers out of the bearings, remove the grease and installed oil for clocks and leave the covers off in order to bring the sensitivity up. The foam displacement is too small for body temperature Displacement. Overall it will work with a hot cup of water which serves it's purpose but nothing like the Kontax ks90. In that note, I hope that helps somebody else out there. The workmanship seems to be OK but if you want to run temperatures that comes from body heat you would need a bigger Foam displacement piston Cylinder.

Great gift.
The person I gave it to for X-mas found its running very entertaining.

Happy, But one minor hiccup.
The media could not be loaded. I have been wanting to order one of these for a very long time and finally pulled the trigger yesterday. I have it set up and running on my desk using a coffee cup warmer as a heat source. It has been running now for about 4 hours and is as intriguing as I hoped it would be. But not without a small problem in getting started. I am an engineer by trade and am fascinated by just about anything mechanical in nature and design. I unboxed the engine this morning and set it up and got it running but noted that it ran slower than expected and had a noticeable ticking noise and a roughness in the motion of the piston. I disassembled the piston and removed the glass tube/cylinder to find the o-ring that holds it in place had been damaged during the assembly process causing the cylinder to be misaligned. I removed the skived off piece, cleaned the cylinder and reassembled it taking extra care in aligning the cylinder. After replacing the engine on the hot plate and giving it a spin it worked like a champ and has been running continuously ever since. It speeds up and slows down as the hotplate cycles on and off so it is not just a monotonous noise but more like a background fluctuating rhythm. Even with this slight hiccup I am extremely happy with my purchase.UPDATE;This engine has been running on my desk for 8 hour a day since the day I got it without a single hiccup. I have gotten tons of comments and questions on it. I would highly recommend it if you are thinking about buying one. I am very very pleased.
