Klein ToolsJ2159CRTP Side Cutting Pliers, Made in USA, 9-Inch Journeyman High Leverage Hybrid Pliers with Crimper, Fish Tape Puller and Wire Stripper

Love these pliers use them every day as an electrician was able to swap out three different tools I had in my tool pouch for one of these. The strippers are Sharp the nose and the head of the pliers are nice and wide like normal kleins for mechanical twists of wires. Cuts MC and Romex well and the tape pull works awesome and the handles are very comfortable. Didn't want to spend 50 bucks on them but it was well worth it.

As an electrical journeyman I have always purchased Klein tools, and I have never regrated it. They are strong, great quality and not too expensive especially when purchased in sets. These are no exception.

Most of my pliers have a firm closing on the knurled cross hatch head. These don't pinch on either end, which is a great boon for when you just want to grip something, but not too tightly. There are a myriad of applications for that feature alone, and for that this tool has great benefits over traditional linesmans or combination pliers.I also appreciate the fact that I can cut, strip and crimp with the same tool. I plan to carry this on my person wherever I go. I've been meaning to teach myself basic electrical work, and I hope this will motivate me.

Always used Klein through the years as an inside wireman, when the quality dropped I switched to Knipex as my daily 9s. I thought I’d try these out as they’re USA made and had some nice features. Definitely lighter weight and work pretty well once you break them in with some WD40 and sand. Work the hell out of them and the feel will improve. The only complaint or negative I could find is that they don’t make a decent hook when you bend a solid copper 14/12 for a device screw terminal. The nose of the pliers is too thick so you have to physically close the hook after bending it some. Other than that they make a good device install set. Nice job Klein and thanks for making them state side again!

Great at crimping, using them as pliers, lineman’s and wire stripping

They are just a c hair shy of being the same size as a pair of linemen’s pliers. As stated they strip 14-10 awg. They twist wires together just as well as your typical linemen’s. This and a 11-1 and you can do almost any task.
