Great little bowls. I like the fact the ants cannot get into their food. We have outside cats and the ants have been invading their food. After we got these food trays it stopped.

OK 1st the bad. It IS hard to move without spilling water everywhere. BUT I am using it outside so... not a big deal to me. I wouldn't use it inside. (I have another one for that. It is bigger & has removable stainless steel dishes. I will review that one next.) It keeps the ants out (unfortunately not the raccoons but that is another story!) It easily holds almost 2 pouches of wet cat food on one side & dry food on the other. I just trade them out in the am & pm. They eat all the wet food & I scoop whatever is left of the dry food into the new bowl & set it out. They are SUPER easy to clean IF you don't scratch the surface.

Even though it does keep the ants out of the food, it’s much too small for what I need it for. But that’s OK. I’ll donate it.

This works perfectly to keep ants away from the food. I was using a plate in a bowl of water but when eating, the cats would push their plate towards the wall of the bowl and the ants could escape the moat that way. This creates a separate moat that ants have no way of crossing. Perfect.

I use these to feed a feral cat colony. They work well. I have ordered 12 of these plates and they are working great.

These do work and it's nice that they give you 2 of them for basically the price of 1 but they're really shallow and short so you can't really put that much in them and my cat's tend to drop the food inside of the little ant moats and that will make it where it's easier for ants to walk across the moats to get to the food plus they have to be perfectly level so that the water doesn't run out and it spills out really easily also so if these things were taller like double the height they would be a lot better so because of that I'm only giving them 3 stars instead of 5 stars but they're okay for the price and at least you get 2 of them which is good but next time I'm going to get bigger ones or taller ones for sure.

Keeps the ants out of the food for my outdoor cat. I wish someone could now figure out how to keep the flies away! The water does drip out when picking it up, so it's a little messy. Luckily, it's on my driveway, so no worries. I fill the bowl with food inside, and put the bowl down outside. Then I fill the moat with water from a pitcher.

We have two stray cats that have adopted us. Since they are outdoor cats (and want to stay that way) we had trouble keeping the ants out of their food in the summer. These bowls have been a fantastic solution. We use them for wet and dry food and have a separate water bowl, but it can easily be used for food and water. So far they seem sturdy and easy to work with.

Needed a bowl for an outdoor cat who visits daily but needed to keep the ants of the dry food and this does the job! I bought two as they are small and don't hold much kibble! just fill the trough with water and that keeps the petty ants out!
