Great Ash wood bat. If prepared properly it does a great job and performs smoothly and has excellent durability.Bat Prep Instructions (for any wood bat; wood bats aren't "open them up and swing" bats like aluminum):1) Remove stickers, inspect bat for cracks and unnatural imperfections (no wood bat is absolutely perfect), and clean with lint free cloth.2) Rub pure/cold-pressed linseed oil with the grain into the bat (even the finished part). Use your hands.3) Let bat dry for at least 2 days4) Once dry, beginning with the knob, place 7mil (not 7mm) or thinner pvc electrical tape around the handle slowly rotating knob until you reach passed the most narrow taper of the bat.5) Apply your favorite grip tape up to your league's legal level.6) Swing bat at REAL LEATHER BASEBALLS ONLY! No dimmpled batting cage balls, rubber balls, weighted balls, synthetic balls, etcetera. Only use real leather baseballs!7) Clean with lint free cloth and inspect for any damage.8) Keep wood bats stored knob up, in a cool/dry place. Try to hang them (closet racks work great with a bat sleeve w clip) so that the bat makes no contact with anything (even the ground can compress the barrel if left to gravity over enough time).9) Have fun. Use it often with other humans!

Bat has surpassed both me and my kids expectation. My son uses both the Bonesaber and Atlas -3 bats for high school and this wood bat is on par with them if not slightly better.

Incredible strong bar for just a basic factory model. Heavy. Very old school. My son has consistently hit with it. He plays high school baseball.

Always wanted a wooden bat as a kid nice to find a good quality one for this price and still works well

Just what my son needed for practicing on the tee at home when his gear is at school during the week. Some grip tape or spray was needed.

Love this bat for the price. I use it when me and my boys are practicing baseball. It gives me a workout and when I have them use it bat seems to help them to improve swing making it easier for them to swing those much lighter aluminum bats. It is well made and nothing like the sound of a ball hitting a wood bat.

I saw this bat on Bat Bros and was impressed with its quality for the cost. I purchased it for my son to hit BP. He loves it and sometimes uses it in a game. Anyone looking for a good wood bat and not trying to break the bank should get this bat. You won't be disappointed.
