I don’t understand why this solder is rated so highly because it didn’t work very well for my soldering needs (electronic repair). Every solder joint I use it for looked terrible....dull almost like a cold solder joint. I tried multiple soldering iron temperature settings but always the same results. Posted question a electronics forum for advice and opinions and was overwhelmed by remarks that this solder is cheap Chinese junk not really intended for serious soldering of electronic components. I would return it but the return window has closed in just one month after receiving.... I’ve been a bench electronic technician for almost 45 years and never had solder perform like this. I got the sense it was intended for jewelry making.

I had trouble getting this solder to melt even with extreme temperatures near 700F. I also had some minimal splattering of what I assume was flux from the solder in some cases (although only sometimes and I never got burned.) I can't return it because I already used some of it, but to put in perspective how high the melting point is:I was trying to solder some header pins into a circuit board. The plastic that holds the header pins together melted while underneath the board before the solder ever melted and the pin started to slide through, which was a pain in the ass because then I had to desolder this stuff which is difficult to melt regardless, making cleaning wick nearly useless for the task. I appreciated the thinness, but that was about it. Next time I will probably go with a different brand.

This works good it is a very fine gauge wire so it is easy to put your solder in exactly the right place. I also have a copper color stained glass patina solution and this solder took the copper color well. I have had some other solder that would not turn copper color with the patina. Very happy with this and glad it is Lead free

melts ok..but.... does not flow well..does not set up shiny...looks like a cold solder joint...looking for a good electronic solder..... well this is NOT it! MANY years of soldering.....expensive soldering equipment.....maybe I can send this stuff back!!

Nice very thin gauge solder. was unable to use a 30-watt pencil-style soldering iron with this product. Ended up using a 75 Watt iron. This may make it unsuitable for use on delicate circuit boards.

If you have small work to do on a board then this is the perfect roll for you. This was just the right size for some small work I had to do. Fast service also.

Worked as expected was thick enough ease of use but always keep in mind people have different opinions about everything I'm just happy it doesn't have a lead in it

I ordered two of them the other one was the wrong size send it back but the one I got right works perfect exactly what I need it good product
