For the price point and for what I needed (watercolour studies), it's brilliant. The slightly ridged paper (horizontal lines) didn't buckle, which is a pet peeve of mine along with overly rough paper. Granted, I didn't flood the page with water, but it still held up with the water I subjected it to. And because of that, I overlooked the ridges.The cover is very hard and it stood up to a bit of abuse.To be fair, I wouldn't have considered this because I prefer smooth paper, but another artist recommended it. Otherwise, I'd still be trolling Amazon to see which was better and in my budget.Worth buying again.

This is a great sketchbook for aspiring traditional artists. The quality of the paper is great because it’s thick and pens don’t bleed through it. The cover is sturdy and protects the paper. There is nothing special about the colour but it provides a great space for artists to personalise their sketchbook. Buckle is great too. Although it might not be the best value for money, it is very high quality so definitely worth buying. Buckle is great too.

Beautiful quality paper. Absolutely love this sketchbook. I can't wait to fully break it in and cover it in loads of stickers!

La texture particulière de ce papier me plaît énormément, c'est un sketchbook un peu lourd mais normal car papier très épais et le nombre de feuilles expliquent cette caractéristique. Je l'aurais préféré avec un élastique mais j'en suis très satisfaite

Débutante à l'aquarelle, j'avais décidé d'acheter ce carnet grâce aux commentaires positifs déjà donnés sur ce produit. Je ne suis pas déçue du tout ! Il est parfait pour l'aquarelle, avec un papier d'une très bonne épaisseur (300g) qui permet un usage facile de cette technique. De plus, le rapport qualité prix est excellent, vu le nombre de pages présent.Je le conseille vivement à toute personne voulant s'exercer avec l'aquarelle !

Das Canson XL Buch kommt mit 120 Blättern, die etwas dicker sind. Zwar sind sie nicht so dick, die Pappe, aber schon dicker als herkömmliches Papier. Es ist in der Größe A5, welche ich für Skizzen und ähnliches bevorzuge. Ich finde es weniger einschüchternd, wenn man nicht so viel Platz hat. Auf der ersten Seite hat man die Möglichkeit seinen Namen und seine Telefonnummer zu schreiben, falls man es einmal verlieren sollte. Danach kommen dann die weißen Blätter. Hier handelt es sich um ein sehr helles Weiß, was manchmal vorteilhaft und manchmal eher ein Hindernis sein kann. Hier muss man für sich selbst entscheiden, mit welcher Farbgebung man lieber arbeitet. Die Blätter sind nicht perforiert, sind also nicht dazu intendiert herausgerissen zu werden, jedoch kann man dies mit der Spiralbindung auch ohne Probleme machen, wenn man möchte. Man kann das Notizbuch mit den verschiedensten Farben nutzen, egal ob trocken oder nass. Bei nassen Medien würde ich aber trotzdem vorsichtig sein, da es immer noch durchdrücken oder das Papier sich wellen kann. Insgesamt bin ich mit dem Buch zufrieden und werde es für Skizzen oder sonstige Zeichnungen, die ich nicht ausstellen möchte, nutzen.

Bel artbook, taille A5, à emporter partout. Comme toujours avec Canson, c'est un papier de qualité; ici au grain fin, multi-techniques. Juste trop fin pour l'aquarelle (mais il existe d'autres artbook pour ça). Ce joli artbook aurait cependant mérité d'avoir un plastique de protection.
