Bought a Fire Pit, Accidentally Became Camp Counselor of the Year
I bought this thinking it’d be a nice little backyard upgrade. What I didn’t expect was to achieve suburban icon status overnight. You light it — no smoke. Like, truly. I didn’t have to play musical chairs around the fire trying to avoid the smoke monster. Everyone’s hair still smelled like shampoo the next morning, not sadness and charcoal. It’s made of sleek stainless steel and somehow looks like it belongs in both a campsite and a modern art museum.🔥 Smokeless design🔥 Removable ash pan (aka: I don’t have to wrestle a Shop-Vac after every s’mores night)🔥 Portable — only 21.75 lbs, so I can drag it out, impress people, and still have energy left to pretend I chopped the wood myself🔥 Perfect size for 4–6 people — which is coincidentally the exact number of people I like at one timeSet up was embarrassingly easy. Like, suspiciously easy. I kept checking the manual like, “That’s it??”Best part? It makes people linger. Laugh longer. Tell stories. One night around this thing and suddenly everyone’s emotionally available and roasting marshmallows like it’s therapy.Would I buy it again?Yes.Would I defend it in a custody battle? Also yes.

Spectacular, with one suggestion
As many reviewers have noted, this thing is awesome. However, I would recommend buying the kit that has the Solo Stove, the stand, and the OEM Solo Stove heavy stainless steel lid. This is a game-changer if you plan to leave it outside, as the cover that comes with the stove is not waterproof. The lid is heavy enough that it won't blow away unless you are expecting a hurricane or tornado. You can put the lid on when there are still small flames when you want to go to bed, which is a great safety feature. They tell you to only do this when you are down to embers, but we have found that it works just fine with a couple of logs on the bottom and small flames.

Great Customer Service! Works well!
Originally I hit a snag, and there was a problem with my unit. I was promptly helped and before I knew it, my backyard had a new fire pit! I've also taken it with me and had no problem setting it up and cleaning it out in the wild. My only suggestion is that for an easier burn, chop up the treated wood you get from the store and combine it with regular wood. I tried their wood and found myself either needing more kindling or a starter log to make it work without waiting 20+ minutes. Here's a tip, it does limit smoke once the fire gets going but if you don't want to smell like smoke stay a little further away while starting the fire as there's plenty of smoke. All in all I would definitely recommend. I've already gotten a dozen long uses and definitely recommend it!

Every patio should have at least one!
I already had the solo stove mesa XL and completely love it for my backyard tabletop. I was lucky enough to come across this item (Bonfire) during a sale so off the bat, I got a great price! Considering it costs a pretty penny for the Surround and the Lid, I could not pass up this deal. This is by far the best fire pit out there. If used right (don’t over fill), its smokeless design is a game changer. A neighbor of mine introduced another neighbor, who introduced me to this brand/product and now, on a regular weekend basis we choose a house, fill our cups, and get a fire going. I do recommend getting some type of fire pit “surround” though. It gets super hot so having that extra layer of protection around kids or fur babies is ideal.

Love our solo stove
We love it! Does exactly what it is supposed to do. We bought a (different brand) pellet adapter which works great. A third a bag will keep a nice fire ending in glowing coals for about 45 mins to an hour. No muss cleanup. We didnt purchase the separate under fire ring and dont seem to need it. We sat ours on a large stepping stone in a cleared grassy area of our yard, worked great.

Nice
Why did you pick this product vs others?:As others said, NOT smokeless and yes, it gets hot, but it's a better than almost all firepits. I'm hoping it is actually stainless. I wish it could fit larger logs, but it works for most.

Convenient Fire Pit for Backyard and Beyond
Prompt assistance led to a new fire pit in my backyard in no time. Easy setup and cleaning make it perfect for outdoor adventures. To improve burn efficiency, consider chopping up treated wood and mixing it with regular wood. While their wood may require additional kindling or a starter log, the overall experience is highly satisfying.

Works as described and surprisingly easy to clean out
Like others have said, you have to get the fire going pretty large before it works its magic and becomes smokeless, but it’s sooooo much nicer not to smell like smoke at the end of the night and not have your eyes burning because the ever changing wind would inevitably blow the smoke right in your face.I was also surprised that when it burns out there is almost nothing left to dump out and after I dump out the ashes it doesn’t smell like smoke so I can store it in the garage without it making everything in there smell like a campfire.
