Eh, it's super shaggy and looks a little mangy to be honest. It is pretty soft which is a plus, and the face is still cute. The hair picks up everything too... it is like dreadlocks. If you were to accidentally drop this in a leaf pile...oh boy...you'd be pulling leaves out of it's fur for hours. My kid likes this monkey though, so I guess it was sort of a win..
