Effectively Dries Up Pimples, But Not Ideal for Overnight Use
This Tiger Cica Red Growl Sleeping Spot Treatment is similar to other pimple treatments I've used in the past, featuring a dual-layer formulation with a bed of calamine below a light liquid. I've been pleased with its performance when the occasional pimple pops up on my face, as it effectively dries up the offending spot and calms the redness. However, while this is billed as an overnight treatment, I agree with other reviewers that it tends to rub off on pillowcases if it is applied before bedtime. The treatment needs to be left on skin while it works its magic; it goes on wet and dries to a powdery finish. You can't really go out after using it, as it doesn't fully absorb and leaves prominent pink patches wherever it's been applied. So I generally apply it after I return home for the day; I wash my face, apply the treatment, and allow it to dry and sit on my skin while I work at my computer, stream movies, or read...then I wash off any residual product before bed. This spot treatment is made in Korea. While most of the product info on the packaging and back of the bottle is in Korean, one full panel on the side of the box is written in English and includes the directions and ingredients. There is an expiration date printed on the bottom of the packaging, and I was pleased to see that the treatment won't expire until April 2025. I don't get pimples very often, so I'm glad this should last me for the next few years.Overall, I'm very pleased with the performance of this spot treatment, and I feel it's a very good value for the price. The only reason I docked one star from my review is because I feel it's a little misleading to market this as an overnight treatment when the product will rub off on linens if used before bedtime.

Mario badescu drying lotion dupe
Very similar to the mario badescu drying lotion that I love. I like that there's an included applicator tip attached to the lid. You're supposed to dip it in and pick up the pink liquid powder. The alcohol keeps it from drying out. Apply the pink liquid on your blemishes to help dry them out. I'll use this prior to bedtime and I'll apply a zit sticker on areas will it could easily rub off. Once the powder hits the pimple, you can feel a tingling sensation and you'll know it's working. It helped reduce the size of my pimples within 2 days. It doesn't over dry my skin which is good. Sometimes the mario badescu drying lotion will do that. The powder for this tiger version is slightly runny but I think that's due to the applicator tip. If I use a q tip and tip the bottle to the side to reduce the amount of alcohol being picked up on the qtip, the powder will be thicker and have more coverage on the skin. It is slightly cheaper than the Mario B. drying lotion.

Good for clearing up pimples
This overnight spot treatment is great for treating individual pimples on your face that need a bit more special attention. I initially used this without reading the instructions and assumed that it was meant to be shaken before use since the liquid separates, but you are actually supposed to use it without mixing it together. The consistency becomes a lot more liquidy after shaking it and is thicker and easier to apply when separated. The applicator is really easy to use and does a good job at applying the formula where you need it. This dries to a more powdery consistency, and just know that if you sleep with this on, it tends to rub off on my pillowcase, so either apply this during the day, or use a pillowcase you don't mind staining. This dries light pink and I usually have to wash off the remnants in the morning. It stings the tiniest bit after putting on, but it makes me feel like it's actually working. I see improvement after using this and it's great to have on hand for when a pimple pops up and needs to be cleared quickly.

Helps To Reduce The Appearance Of Blemishes But Will Not Eliminate Them Completely
This particular brand has an excellent range of skin care products. So I was excited to try this treatment to help clear the skin from blemishes. The product itself is light and easy to apply. I like to put a small amount on a q-tip not to cross-contaminate and to keep the applicator clean as possible. Mostly, it does dry pretty quickly, and it does help reduces redness and size but do not expect it to be gone entirely. The product reminds me of the Mario Badescu lotion. It's pretty similar but with a different formula and far less expensive. The overall quality is decently good, and as I mentioned, it does help reduce the appearance of a pimp but will not remove it entirely. If you have sensitive skin, I suggest doing a small test patch. These can be harsh on the skin and cause more outbreaks.

Not good if you’re a side or stomach sleeper
So, I like the product. I really do. I’m a fan of the packaging, from the small frosted glass bottle to the silicone applicator tip. I think it’s brilliant and aesthetically pleasing, as well as the wand being a great tool to apply the treatment easily and mess-free. As someone with a currently mild form of rosacea, my skin gets occasionally red & small pimples form, usually made worst around my menstruation week with larger pimples and sometimes zits popping up. Using this overnight spot treatment seems to be helping reduce the redness on my cheeks and longevity of the pimples. I can definitely see a difference. What I don’t like is that the formula goes from liquid in the bottle, to powdery, almost clay-like on the face but it doesn’t fully dry. Being an overnight treatment, I prefer something that will disappear into my skin, not sit on top. Granted it’s a spot treatment and I basically spread it on my whole cheeks because those are my problem areas. Still. My pillow cases get soiled with the treatment rubbing off during the night. Even on nights where I consciously try to keep my face facing up, I eventually knock out and have no control where on the pillow my face goes. If this formula can be made where it can be a little thinner so it’s absorbed fully by the skin, it would be an easy 5 star winner.
