Good way to start
I'm new to art and have wanted to try this technique for a long time. This guide has everything I need, from theory to practice. Detailed step-by-step photos with which I can achieve similar results. Recommend it! I can't wait to start.

Author explains a lot
The author not only takes the time to share techniques using alchohol ink. She also shares the different brands available, the pros and cons of working with them.

Not inspired
I love alcohol inks and have tons of them so thought I could learn new technique and get inspired first it would have helped to show final images on all projects in a size they could easily be seen second, I thought some of the word usage was a bit confusing ( I thought adding elements to your painting would involve adding a different media such as tissue or tiny crystals etc...I'm not sure I ever really figured out what the author meant by it) seems like 80% of the book focused on the same hair dryer technique of drying ink in circular motion and pushing either to center or outwards depending on your design. I don't know, I just didn't find the book interesting or helpful, maybe because I didn't particularly care for the artworks produced. Just wasn't for me Dream scales is a much better and inspiring book about using alcohol inks but videos are probably even better in this medium sad because I love books in hand!
