Thermos Vacuum Insulated Stainless Steel Commuter Bottle, 16-ounce, White w/Purple Accent

This is the best travel mug I have ever had. It keeps my coffee hot all day. It's easy to open and close with one hand. I've had several of them, cause I'm not as careful as I should be. These mugs have held up falling out of pick-up trucks and work benches. It did not hold up to running over it with the tractor but I guess that might be a little beyond the intended purpose. I didn't check it the warrantee would cover that. I've given many of these out as gifts.One did not insulate so I called the manufacturer. They had me send it back and they sent me a replacement of an updated one that I would not recommend. The new on is harder to drink out of and terrible to pour from.

We got our first Nissan Thermos bottle aver 7 years ago and have been using the same two bottles daily for that long (pictured). They keep coffee and tea hot for most of the day. They've been dropped countless times and the lids have survived. Never had any problems with the gasket. It pops off easily and gets thrown in the little basket in the dish washer every night.My only two complaints are minor and haven't affected the awesomeness of the bottle.1.) Don't bother getting a colored bottle if you want to put it in the dishwasher. The powder coating will flake off in your dishwasher and you will have a silver stainless bottle within a year. The bottle pictured used to be white. It was silver in a few months.2.) The plastic ring around the bottom of the cup will crack if dropped. Both of our bottles have cracked bottoms, but they are so well adhered to the bottle that they have stayed on.Thermos, if you are reading these reviews, PLEASE KEEP MAKING THESE EXACT BOTTLES. AND DON'T CHEAP OUT ON ANY OF THE COMPONENTS BECAUSE WE *WILL* NOTICE.

It’s great! Leak proof and eady to drink from! Plus keeps coffee hot. Plus size is perfect! Please bring it back!

My wife has had several of these and when she couldn't find a particular one recently (she later did), I ordered another. She prefers the 16-ounce bottles. The larger bottles are too big for her to easily carry with her, and she is almost never without hers. Several have been dropped and as a result developed leaks from the top where the white meets the gray cap. She says it's not so easy to clean as she would like. Nevertheless, it's the bottle she asks me to buy for her. She attests that it does keep hot liquids hot for 12 hours. She never puts cold liquids in it, so can't attest to how long it keeps them cold.

Is very difficult to open the thermos after couple of hours closed. I used it only for cold water. Not goog quality as other thermos. Not reccommended

This is my second purchase of this thermos. It keeps things hot for a long time.Don’t use scented dishwashing soap on it as the plastic lip for drinking will absorb the odor. I had to throw one away because it was disgusting with the scent and unusable. Just use fragrance free soaps.

Thermos changed their design from what it was a few years ago and made it a piece of junk. The soft white plastic inside of the cap does not hold its shape. have never washed it in the dishwasher. It leaks when closed.
