This is what I needed to back to embroidery! Bought thread and a tiny hoop at Hobby Lobby- but the Amazon kit will be best for me- templates printed on quality fabric- their own larger hoop- I recommend this for beginners- I am now convinced I could not finish with the same quality with onlin3 only Instructions- Glad I ordered it!

OK so now you buy this.I had no clue how to embroider. I bought this kit.I’ve already finished the first lesson. I’m moving onto the second.Am I good at it? Of course not lol I’m a beginner.You get an instructional booklet, but like me I couldn’t really follow the instructions so went to their website. Every single instructional video is there. There’s no annoying narration on these videos. There’s pleasant music on the videos, but you can turn that off. The kit comes with everything you need and is a great value for the money. You don’t have to know anything about embroidery, threading a needle or tying a knot. You will learn everything with this kit, and it will be enjoyable.

This kit is great. The linen fabric is preprinted with multiple rows of the stitches to get plenty of opportunity to try your hand at perfecting that embroidery stitch. Embroidery thread colors provided are bright and colorful to use when trying your hand at various embroidery stitches. The part I liked best was the tutorial book and access to the You Tube videos using the URL code for each of the different stitches. Being able to pause and reverse and rewatch it multiple times was perfect to learn some of the more difficult stitches. I highly recommend this product. Great beginner friendly guide.

The embroidery set itself is amazing, and I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone ready to give it a shot. If you’re unsure about any of the steps, I suggest looking up tutorials on YouTube — the included videos don’t always walk you through everything clearly, but there are plenty of helpful guides out there to fill in the gaps.

This is my second time buying this kit. I learned so much from it, I'm buying it for a friend.

I love this and it makes learning the stitches so easy. You can use the book or scan the code in the book to watch the videos. I'm going to buy the other kits too. This would be a great gift for someone wanting to learn embroidery. The perfect gift.

I am of mixed minds of the material. It is canvas and I would have preferred cotton material, mainly Egyptian with Sateen weave. Actually cost me less than buying at the fabric store.The instruction could have been better buy you could get online and get more info. Unfortunately, I have a hard time figuring some things out, so just decided to follow the direction in the booklet. It make it clear what to do.It will help me a lot to get the designs I had learned from my mom years ago and forgot them. We lost her 40 years ago.I still miss her, still sometimes cry (69 and still cry for my mom).Anyhow I would suggest that someone who wants to learn the basic in embroidery this would be a good book to get.

Great kit for beginners. I'm such a beginner that I used it along with utube to learn the stitches which worked very well. But I really like having the stitch patterns to follow and the repetitive stitches so you have a chance to learn the stitch. Great kit. Comes with everything you need to learn (along with utube).
