Squish 41001 Colander, 2-Quart, Green

If you have a double sink, this is the perfect colander. I set it on the lip of each side and can rinse out anything hands-free. Dishwasher safe and it collapses down so easily fits. I finally replaced the one I got as a wedding gift (13 years ago) and expect this set to last just as long.

I bought this collapsible colander to keep at work and it has become one of my favorite kitchen tools. If you need to save space but still want to be able to wash vegetables and fruits or drain pasta this will work great. I hang it in my locker and it's there when I need it. I expect this to last me a very long time. The areas that collapse do not seem inherently weak in any way. Even at home this may be a great option if you are trying to cut down on kitchen clutter and save space.

I'm hooked. And they hook too. What I mean is, I hang them inside my pantry door for easy access. I was able to replace my very large stainless ones that I had to keep in my pots and I replaced my other various sizes that was metal and plastic that took up room. They go in the dish washer too. If I need to collapse it partially to fit in between things in the dish washer I can and it still gets clean. Not like the metal ones when I needed as much room for them as I did for my pasta pot. Easy to clean by hand if you don't have a dish washer also. I highly recommend them. All the sizes.

I use this on a daily basis. I hate getting the big strainer out for smaller items and this does the trick. I stick it in my dishwasher to clean. I use it to wash fruit and veggies, strains canned veggies, and to strain pasta I cook for my kids. I like the fact that it’s collapsable. Not only does it take less storage space but it fits in the dishwasher with less space.

I bought this after my larger Squish colander died after years of service. My only complaint is that it would be nice if there were a 3 quart version, but the 2 quart works fine for most things. I also have the rectangular Squish colander that's made to hang from the side of a divided sink. Love them all!

I love these thing. They take up very little space. They are sturdy and can be cleaned in the dish washer. Great product.

This is a great collapsible colander. It has a lot of holes so that there is good drainage. I threw out a Tupperware colander that I had for years which worked great but was very old and stained. This is comparable to that but is collapsible.

We are RVers so obviously anything that I can make smaller is great with the limited storage space we have. For some reason I expected a more rubbery or silicone feel, like the one I currently have that I thought was the same brand. This has a rigid handle which I find uncomfortable to hold, even for a few seconds. But it does the job and is easy to store.
