These are VERY long and it's easy for the string to pull through. Comfy though and good for play.

I didn’t like the drawstring, they came out had to replace with shoestrings. He loves them so comfortable, easy to care for, by washing and hanging, no ironing, love the colors

Nice shorts but drawstring pulls out super easily
There is nothing on the ends of the drawstring to keep it from getting pulled out. My son wore them to school before I had noticed this. He didn't tie it, got it caught and pulled the string half way through the waist. I didn't have anything on the end of it to work it back through so I pulled it out. The others I made sure to tie large knots on the ends.
