… product is nice quality; HOWEVER, EliteShade Customer service is non existent - ZERO and their replacement parts - ZERO (0). Umbrella base came with a broken base flange.

The attaching sleeve that hold the umbrella screws into the base. When the thing new it feels tight and solid, BUT after a few weeks, it falls apart. The sleeve is severely wobbly and the entire stand is rendered unusable. Contacting seller support leads nowhere. Amazon support not much help either. Don't waste your time or money - skip this product. MAnufacturer & Amazon Cust Support are both terrible. Amazon is worse.

quality item that is heavy duty - have had no problem with Florida winds - of course umbrella is not expanded unless we are using it and we store the umbrella it during hurricane season as we are out of state then

It's a solid product. Bought it for the low profile. The plastic ring onto which the post will sit on the metal base was broken. It is still usable and doesn't bother us since it's under a table (no one will see it).

We live where it gets really windy. This stand with 100 pounds of sand in the accompanying bag is not going to let the umbrella go anywhere!

Have had this base for about 2 months and it's already rusting and leaving stains on our outdoor rug. Also, it tips over even in just a moderate wind. We're going to add the sand bag and see if that helps. Expected much better quality for the price.

The bolt that connects the holder to the base bent almost immediately. Then when I tried to contact support, it went to a different company. They said they get constant calls. They looked up the company and can’t find them. It also rusted almost instantly.
