I’m not sure if there is a special way to use these pens but the ink flows for a few minutes, then seems to stop flowing. They are a bit of a nightmare. Taking notes in a single one hour lecture, I went through 4 of these then gave up and got out my pencil.

Writing is smooth and the ink flow is perfect. The special design, shape and soft texture creates the comfortable grip. From what I've experienced so far I believe the pens are very durable.

Okay, but not as inky as other pens and I find they run out a bit quicker. Like the brand, but would pick another one next time

Great pens. The black ink flows smoothly from the tip of these pens. No skipping when writing. I had to get used to the silent clicks when pushing down on the top of the pen. Do not drop the pen, it does stop working. I threw away two pens already due to me dropping it accidently. I recommend this product.

The pens start off writing really well with good color saturation but after writing for any significant amount of time there is a noticeable color difference. It goes from deep black to basically grey after one time use. Not worth the money.

I purchased these pens last November and have been using them ever since. I used the ink up on two of them, lost one, gave two away, and kept the rest in the box. I didn’t like them at first, but after using them consistently the triangular grip became my favorite for comfort, my writing looked visually better and more precise, and I appreciated that they are smudge proof (important for highlighting). Now the downsides, one pen was unusable from out the box. The clear tip was broken and the nib was too wobbly to write with a piece of the tip missing (see pic - white pen). Next while writing with one of the pens it sort of “popped” or sprang apart. I found the clicker tip that popped off along with the spring and reassembled the pen. However, after further inspection, the pop was hard enough that it split the plastic barrel of the pen (see pic - green), rendering another unusable pen. So in all, nice for writing but too many problems for me to repurchase.
