This is a very cool looking camera., it's very small making it very practical and you can place it anywhere in the home including on the ceiling.You can view remotely and as well as images you can actually hear what's going on, and speak too, so you can talk to the children or your dog! . Image quality is pretty decent. Recommend you get yourself an SD card for storing recordings. Get the highest capacity that you can, so that you can store more recordings.I wanted to use this to record outside, but as it's not an outdoor camera I place this on my windowsill looking out. It works pretty well during the day capturing visitors as they walk within range of the sensor. At night-time it struggled a bit because street lighting outside caused reflections, affecting image quality. That said this is an indoor camera so that's not a complaint.Set up fire TV app wasn't that easy and I wasn't sure I was even using the right app but my son got it working eventually.Don't do that when you you download this type of app with a camera that a third party {app owners} can actually see inside your home should they wish to. For that reason always make sure that that you take any necessary precautions to protect yourself and your data.

It's easy to position the camera from inside the app and move it around to your liking.There are plenty of options for how you want to configure notifications, users, storing recordings etc.Camera image quality is really good. The motion response to seems fairly reliable. Overall I would say this is good value for money.

I got this for two reasons, 1 for when our puppy is roaming downstairs, I can make sure he’s not getting into things/up to trouble and 2 for when we go out/go away. We have round the clock footage of the house. The picture quality is amazing, it can be attached to the walls etc but as we rent ours isn’t fixed to anything! Great motion detection and sound quality!

This camera arrives nicely presented - the box and packaging is great. It includes screws to mount it, a manual and a couple of window stickers in case you want to warn intruders that you have a camera running.The manual is pretty basic, but it does have a QR code which when scanned on your phone takes you straight to the app to download. From there setup was a straightforward case of following through the process on the app. I note other reviewers have had problems, but connection using my iPhone 13 worked first time for me - the software needed my wifi password to pass to the camera, so have that ready.The app is nicely designed and works well. It's easy to position the camera from inside the app.I'm still getting my head around it but it has loads of options for how you want to configure notifications, sharing users, storing recordings etc. One question I have is whether it can send recordings directly to storage in the app - in case an intruder removes the power from the camera. There's a simple option to put the camera into privacy mode and that works well.Camera image quality is very good. And the response to seeing motion etc seems reliable. All in all pretty pleased with this.

Trying to get the blasted thing to connect to my home network was not easy. A great deal of cursing and swearing and randomly pushing buttons took place before it decided to join in. And I'm still not sure how. I suspect I may have used the wrong Lorex App. So make sure you use the Home app not the one that appeared first in the Google store. That done, it was relatively straightforward. There were also a couple of places it didn't like in the house. Luckily I have a wi-fi extender as it was needed at the end of the house by the front door. The point is deducted from an otherwise fine product because the automatic panning Does Not Work. Which kind of defeats the purpose of a Pan-Tilt camera. For the price it's a decent camera for checking on your house but it's not much cop for catching intruders.

It's quite sturdy. I am gladly recommending this security camera to anyone. Worth the price for sure.
